Carla Car Hire - Rental Cars

Beginning of this year I rented a car to go to South Dakota. I canceled a car but was trying different options for pricing. Each time I went thru affirm to get a loan to help me pay off said cars. I didn't cancel one of the cars which I wasn't to much worried about bci hadn't canceled. How ever I'm stuck with a $617 debt and nothing off my record after I've reported this not being canceled on Carla's side. I hope this never happens to anyone else.

if i could give zero i would. it’s a scam. don’t bother using this third party app. i honestly don’t know how it has 4.6 stars. i got scammed $55.70.

Everything is great except when you run into a problem. I was “passed off” to a higher up by the customer service 3 months ago and still no response. If you have an issue nobody will help or even talk to you. Scam. My “carla cash” is also missing despite it supposedly lasting 18 months. I would do any other service before this one.

highway robbery. won’t give you a refund at all and offers carla cash instead. carla charges you and not the place you rent from. shouldn’t be on the app store at all for robbing people.

Reserved a car and Hertz wouldn’t rent me a car and Carla won’t refund my money. Said they would give me a 60$ credit toward a rental which I can’t use and they owe me 140$

This app is constantly trying to add additional services and fees to the cost of the rental car. The default is that they are added in, and you must take them out, which is totally annoying.

They will take your money and charge for extra services that they don’t actually provide. First I paid for “skip the line” which they could not provide. Then I tried to cancel a reservation and customer service gave me the run around for a week until it was past the cancellation period and wouldn’t give me my money back. They are absolute scam artists. Please do not waste your money with this company!
