CTEK Battery Sense

I like the app in general. But it could be so much better. Bug: you still get notifications despite having disabled them in settings ( no status update for 7 days) which is a PITA when your other car is 1600 miles away .... Update 2024 - tried installing and binding to a new iPhone 15 Pro Max. App just dies after entering the “code” with no warning.

Please update this app as it no longer works ok. Since iOS 17.1.1 on iPhone 15 pro max the voltage shows but the percentage is blank. Just a white box with no green level or %

Can’t get past the “do you give consent” question. There’s no box to tick. How can you make your app so useless when it could be so simple?

They no longer produce it but are going to support the app, well isn’t that nice of them! The issue is, if you lose the connection and try to relink it you get a nice pop up message giving the link to this news and then nothing! You can’t relink as your stuck in an endless loop of reading how good they are too you by supporting this no defunct product 🤣 There are cheaper and better products out there that actually work so again AVOID this dead one

The battery voltage scale is currently zero to twenty five volts. This makes it very difficult to examine the small changes in voltage which provide the key information on the status of a lead acid battery. A better scale would be something like eleven to fifteen volts. Yes, the state of charge graph is very useful, but if there is a voltage graph it should be useful too. CTEK products are excellent. I’ve owned a few. Please update this app and bring it up to the CTEK level of excellence.

This app was easy to download and set-up. It does the basic job of what volts, temp and charge % but the scales are a bit hopeless. As other have said 0-25v isn’t much good when the interest range is 11-15v most of the time. Same for temp The other issue is it often fails to connect or takes some while to do so. Needs to be more reactive. I will buy another sensor for my other battery but I expected more from CTEk!

Instructions are a little vague when entering numbers to pair your dongle first time And the camera scan didn’t work with the new iphone 13 pro you’re not able to to zoom in to scan the barcode Once I figured out you only need to enter all the numbers, without the first 4 I was up and running so no issues after Once achieved that. Auto reconnect so far it has been doing so once I am in a 10 metre range

Phone shows monitor connected to Bluetooth but often monitor won’t connect to the app

Title says it all! What a waste of money

Crap The customer services are the same as the device. Useless. Please don’t waste your money. Have to phone Sweden for support Not helpful at all. Had to throw it away. Waste of time and money
