DoorDash - Food Delivery

Ordered food, eta 10-15mins. 30mins later, map shows driver at merchant, but then disappears. Doordash reassigns 2nd driver that’s 15mins away from merchant. Same thing happens, disappears when they get there. Yet another driver is assigned. I get in touch with support who say: “Your dasher is on it’s way now”, even though it’s been nearly an hour wait. I cancel order for a refund as there’s no guarantee it won’t happen again. Ask for service recovery for the hour wait for nothing in return. Can’t do it, not their fault. I deleted app straight afterwards

If you order hot food, the status will make you think the food isn’t ready. Whereas in reality the food is ready, and sitting there going cold. Ridiculously, the app then happily updates the order every ten minutes or so, saying it will be delayed. They will do that for over an hour! Clearly the app should automatically cancel hot food in some reasonable time - but they don’t. Because money.

App itself is not very easy to use and the customer service “agent” is just a bot with pre programmed responses. I won’t be using again!

waited an hour and half for a cold burger that was smothered in ketchup and cheese (I didn’t ask for cheese I’m dairy free) $30 for a single burger and no support or refund. Do yourself a favour and cook something at home it will be quicker

This is the worst app i’ve ever used. The customer support is rude and don’t care about you. I had a customer support person called ronaldo and he cut me off mid conversation and was absolutely useless with any of my issue requests. I have been robbed using this app and would not recommend to ANYONE. If you’re hungry get uber eats or save the dishes and not this app. If i could rate it a 0 star i would. Absolutely terrible, dishonest workers and awful customer service and support.

So I have a mobile number outside of the US and these clowns allow only Us mobiles to order so I will order Uber Eats and cross off these muppets forever. Such an unnecessary product bottleneck. Complete amateurs

The worst costumer service in the world I received an order from McDonald’s on 501-503 Elizabeth street Melbourne and what a shambles it was. Not only did they mess up on my order the service was terrible! I ordered through door dash and let me tell you it’s the last time I will be using the app and buying from the store. I had two burgers missing one completely gone and the other was swapped with a quarter pounder when I clearly ordered an Angus burger. also my drink was completely swapped out for a frozen coke and even said on the receipt when I In fact ordered a frozen Fanta Too top it off they then didn’t give us the deserts that i ordered nor was they on the receipt that came attached too the bag when it clearly states it on my door dash receipt. I even waited nearly two hours for cold food that wasn’t even the same as what I ordered Not happy at all after all of this when the mistakes was made i then went too door dash too receive a refund and was pretty much told too F off the two receipts I had didn’t match up but still couldn’t refund me the money that I wasted on this awful McDonald’s. Would never recommend stay away from door dash and 1,000,000 times over avoid this restaurant DISGUSTING DISASTER!!!!!!

Horrible service, completely wrong order with proof of receipt that it’s wrong! No refund, nothing sorted or even care about the customers. Do not recommend this app! The WORSE I EVER EXPERIENCED IN THE WORLD. I have spent on delivery over 14 countries and things does goes wrong sometimes but this is the worse service I ever experienced for food delivery service app. NEVER AGAIN. Share experience everyone so next person won’t be going through this headache and spent over $80 dollar just to going through this stress. Waste of time and horrible company!

Doesn’t accept UK mobile numbers, so can’t use while visiting the USA… 🙄
