I have tried to get you to send my badges to my Hotmail account but you must be sending them to my adsl.co.uk, which I don’t use now!!
After nearly 4 years am now only getting a few days battery life. When it gets to 30% left, it just suddenly dies. And it often informs me I have exceeded my goal by 15k steps…. first thing in the morning when I have only done 200 steps total.
I really don’t like the current sleep lay out of statistics is very muddy. I much preferred the old lay out. It was so much clearer and easy to look at
Over the past couple weeks, my Fitbit has stopped tracking my distance walked. It still tracks the distance I run when I turn of the function in the Exercise section on the watch but all the steps I take in the day don’t correspond to any distance covered. It was fine until two weeks ago and I’ve had this watch for two years. Please fix this issue! I’m starting to consider switching to a Garmin or Apple Watch at this rate.
The app has always been as difficult, and as unpleasant as pulling out your own teeth to sync each morning, but the new user interface, is not only less readable (instant fail by default) especially the sleep chart - with the new fragmented dots and dashes in muted food stain colours, but the Google team (who now own Fitbit) have also scrawled the axis headings through middle of the chart as well, making it more cluttered and less easy to read. On top of that, they have got rid of landscape mode for viewing the charts. Now it is a genuinely unpleasant chore to use the app. It is offensively difficult to sync, and demonstrably more difficult to read your data, once you have managed to sync. On top of that, you know Google are gleefully harvesting all your personal biometric data, as well as where you go, and when. If it wasn’t so useful to monitor sleep, I would bin this set up in an instant. Yes a Fitbit is cheaper than an Apple Watch, but is it worth it for the hassle you get simply trying to sync every single morning? (And never mind the (incessant ‘couldn’t instal updates’ pop ups - when you’re not trying to update or instal additional features. This app is utter rubbish on both UX as well plain old basic usability metrics.
I can rarely open the app so never know what’s going on. I sometimes wonder why I even bother wearing the watch…
Why have you split all our friends apart by pulling new devices over to Google account when old friends are left behind!! Very bad move - very disappointed.
Used to love my Fitbit, checked/updated it multiple times a day, paid for premium. But where we are now is: cancelled premium, had to turn off auto app updates for every single app on my phone to avoid being subjected to any more of the downgrades Google insists on pushing through since taking over Fitbit. Has negatively impacted my perception of Google products as well. Disappointing… Garmin here I come soon!
Used to be a good app but, since it’s been redesigned, it’s awful. Gives false readings and can’t measure distances. Have had to delete and reload it so many times recently and still doesn’t work
