Rubbish app
This app never works. Deleted and reinstalled several times work the first time you login then that’s the end. Every time after this app try’s to open but never opens just flash’s and goes back to the phone home page.

Initial log in great but once app is closed it won’t re open and is stuck on giffgaff screen. Need to delete app and reinstall every time I use it?!? Seems I’m not the only one Update. Contacted support like suggested. Answer clear browser cache!?! and tough basically deal with if that doesn’t work!! Well giffgaff after months of waiting I’ll be going elsewhere
I can open the app and log in once, then it crashes every time after I try to open it. I literally have to delete and download the app each time I want to log in. It’s a joke. Good prices though.

App crashes and freezes this has been going on for weeks now the developer commented on my last post to ask if my phone is update everything is updated and my phone is fine the app is broken and they wont fix it
The service connection is okay. Definitely could be better and you can only add one card to your account as a payment method is super inconvenient. Anytime you need to pay with another card you have to remove that card and add the other.
… if I could access the app!! After launching it the screen freezes on “giffgaff”, then the app crashes/disappears. Error already reported, not yet sorted
Once the app is installed on iPhone 6s, it works fine the first time. Then it doesn’t. If you want it to work again, you need to delete the app and then install it back. You’ll be able to open the app only when it’s re-installed. Once you closed the app after that and you want to use it again, the GiffGaff app will crash. I know, I know… I should buy a newer phone. At least mention this issue somewhere: app doesn’t perform well on older phones, buy a new phone you pleb!

Accept there is a genuine problem (ie get a grip). 2. Please fix it. 3. It was the best Mobile Phone Provider app - an App TO BE PROUD OF ! - PLEASE Fix it and let it be again ! I am off now. I am trusting you to sort this 👍🏼 UPDATE 16 June 2024: App still not fixed. Received response from "giffgaff Ann" apologising delay in getting back to me and acknowledging the App is bust. (Thank you GiffGaff Ann). It asks me to contact GiffGaff directly through the App. I had already attempted this in April / May 2024. It was just the "GiffGaff Community" who told me nothing was wrong. 2 or 3 tried to be genuinely helpful but one (I felt) was aggressive and rude and I had to ask him to leave the conversation because I genuinely felt he was aggressive and completely unhelpful. Someone from GiffGaff then got in touch and told me that they did not think he was being aggressive 🤷🏽♂️. I am not going back in there - total waste of time and I got better things to do than be treated like that by total strangers. I am trying out other networks - I am honestly hoping things improve with GiffGaff.
Giffgaff is a piggyback operator, with no customer service, with only helpers, so if you have a problem & the community can’t help you your stuck, maybe for weeks without a phone. Second problem Poor signal outside large towns & cities and very slow data speeds at busy times, l don’t think giffgaff itself is to blame, it’s runs on the 02 network, which itself is struggling 02 gone from second best mobile operator to the worst of the big four, I live in southwest, I’ve learnt over the last few months, when & at what time l can use my internet, as the internet speeds at peak times are really bad, like l said it is not an overall review of giffgaff itself as it piggybacking off 02, it’s the 02 system that is at fault . With all it takeovers in recent years, and lack of investment & an explosion in new customers due to takeover , it really struggles at peak times Giffgaff has a good community, but no customer service & 02 in large parts of the country, especially outside large towns and cities is poor, like l said very noticeable at peak times
