The app mostly works fine. However choosing the “Hide all stories by N” doesn’t work and they still show up. Very annoying for the sensationalist BS.

Since I understand English, I can understand British and American English but the app requires you to define what kind of English you understand. But Google News has a max setting of two languages which doesn’t make sense if you understand more languages than American and British English.

The amount of adds is crazy, makes it hard to find what you intended to read.

Theres two sections dedicated to following news sources of your choice. How you view those in the feed? A mystery. You instead are give whatever news Google feeds you. I don’t want PandaNews whatever the hell that is in my top stories, or celebrity gossip. Worthless.

as in TODAY as in the only purpose of it is to STAY UP TO DATE on topics. i don’t need you to show me stories “according to my interests” i need you to show me stories and topics that i choose, in CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. now i’m wasting my time just scrolling to find the latest updates. i’m not the first person to tell you this. it’s the news, it’s not a social media app - but even twitter allows you to sort your feed according to latest tweets! please give the people what they want.

Hi, I am using an iphone 8 and have the last 2 months experienced lag and over heating of the phone when using this app. In addition, when clicking on a news, and then returning to the main news page, I am not returned to where I was before cliking the news, I am instead navigated back to some earlier stage in my news flow. I have been very happy with the app, but the last two months have made me want to change news app, if this is not fixed. Mynother apps works normally.

I’ve been using this app for years but since a couple updates back, the Google news app started overheating my 11 Pro. Screen dims, phone gets uncomfortably hot and the app gets less responsive. All goes back to normal when I force exit the app.

Bra app, men det skulle vara trevligt om det fanns en funktion som stängde av/ tog bort artiklar med paywalls.

Want to open news in my default browser... Not inside the app... It is not opening everything correctly. Give me the choice!
