Bug: I cannot set/change alarms on homepod. Home app writes me to refresh to newest iOS version, that I did. 17.7 installed. I restarted the phone multiple times. Also homepod is on newest version. Please correct this, so HomePod users can use HomePod without any issue.

My main 4 issues with Home: -lack of parental controls, if you invite someone (kids, 2 family home residents) you can not provide access for certain rooms or areas, just full control over the full home -lack of data and functions, you need to download third party apps to have deep customizations or automations (like home+ or eve), all the data and options are there just apple home ignores it -multiple camera live view and alarm, the same as for cameras as you need to buy an app ‘homecam’ to see live all your cameras but cant do that from apple home. Also if your cameras are hks you can set to only record if humans are approaching, but cant use this to trigger an alarm. Most people with gardens have dogs, we dont want to wake up on an alarm every time if the dog goes around, especialy if the software is given to differenciate movement. -lack of product categories (like robot vacuum, etc.) i bet apple is working on expanding the compatible device list, but its quite limited now

since I updated to ios17, and tvos there have been two problems with the devices in the home. they didn't answer. I had to restart the apple tv to recover. please investigate the problem as soon as possible and fix it with an update. I like the home app but im a bit sad.

It is a disgrace what apple products became.

the new version of UI is nicer but harder to use some of the add-ons. after the update: - the handling of thermometers is terrible - some device are gone and I can't even set them. - the status of the devices is not real (off or on) - automation doesn't work properly, if more than one device is set one is turned on and one is not I have to use for each smart device own app. :(
