Why has my HSBC Australia app updated into an app for Egypt and Sri Lanka?!

Please use this service it’s used widely in Australia by many banks. Your technology should be catching up by now.

Each use of a new app, you will need to reset the password. So you can only use the app on one device. (If you set it up on your iPad, you will need to reset your password to set it up on your iPhone. You will then not be able to login to your iPad unless you reset the password.) Once in you a quite limited with what you can do and mostly you will need to logon to a desktop version of online banking. you can check balances and move money between accounts as well as previously saved billers But that’s the extent of it. So I guess it’s safe, but not much useability.

We find the app to work fine. Great for exchange rates and currency conversions. Excellent and fantastic when travelling internationally.

I mean seriously, it’s 2021 & you can’t get a transaction history more than 2 months?!?! HSBC you need to do better, this is probably against most consumer protection laws.

This app is so slow and it has to be re-directed thru the browser in order to view all the information, very cheap design & extremely inconvenient, not recommend anyone to use it.

I am so angry with this app. When setting a secure key for device, you let us use both English characters and number. Then after a few days when I need to enter the secure key, this phone app only provides me a number panel. How can I use the digital secure key again!? Then I am thinking to reset it and this app asked me to press the “generate security code” button. This button doesn’t even exist!!!!!!! Look at the photo you showed on this Apple app page!! This button is not on the picture!! How can I press this button when it doesn’t exist!!!??? Then the only thing I can do is to call, which takes more than ages!!!! I hate this app and all the designs of this app. It is totally user-unfriendly and stupid. Last reminder: !! Don’t set your secure code as anything else but number!! !! Set your secure code with only numbers!!

Since the last update, the app doesn’t fit to the screen and I can’t enter the right amount for transfer, due to some numbers don’t fit into the screen and there is no way to scroll. Need fixes ASAP!

Really bad than the last version.need fix asap

For payments and transfers function I have lost the 0 on the in app, pop up, numbers keyboard, so I can only access numbers 1-9. I am running the app on an iPhone 12 with the latest iOS updates installed. Can you please fix this bug ASAP?
