Doesn’t always connect to the app. I use iPhone and I cannot connect away from home when using 4g. I can only connect over my home WiFi which defeats the object of the App! Maybe the App needs to be improved for iPhone users.

Next to useless. Connects only once in 10 or 20 attempts. Each failure it blames MY Wifi connection or power supply when in fact it is the device that is failing. Dont understand why Wellis hot tubs still use this awful system

It’s great if it works. So temperamental! I’m sure it’s a bug that can be fixed. We (everyone who’s written a review) are all having the same problem. My module in the house is right next to the tub outside, it’s not like my tub gets up and walks to the end of the yard and loses signal. It doesn’t connect more than it does connect. Just loads for ages then says ‘error’. I know it’s not my WiFi as I have 1gig fibre with a mesh system and everything stays connected all the time. Just this 1 app that fails. Please fix it, it was an expensive addition and it doesn’t work properly

This app could be fantastic with some upgrades. Sometimes you can log in and sometimes you can’t. I’d love it if I could always log in. It has the potential to be super useful but fails with the login issues despite excellent local WiFi etc. When are upgrades due? We have had our gecko link for 4 years and no update

Works great. I can see my hot tub status and use the controls at home or remotely. Seems to be very reliable and I’ve had no problems.

Own this for the last couple of years, so what can i say. The main issue i do experiencing is this device works on the local wifi network only. This mean when i'm out of my home on 4G mobile data i can't connect to my hot tub. I have try lots of things through troubleshooting as per manual turning off and on, restarting, resetting, opening a port 10022 in my router and ec no solution works! I didn't give up and sent a query to gecko but never received a response unfortunately. Gecko, if you read this can you finally find the solution please? If your solution is check your internet connection, my answer don't blame pls my internet connection, it is fast fibre and everything works excellent apart of in.touch.

This App is “OK” but could be a lot better. The connectivity is ephemeral, but usually you can manage to make the connection after a few tries. Worst for me is its inability to handle time. The Water Care section lets you set times that the Spa should be in economy mode (11C cooler) As I have cheap electricity between 2am & 5am I like to turn off Economy between these times. When I first set this up (in winter) I noticed that always ran 30 minutes earlier than I wanted, thus using full price electricity, so I added 30 minutes to all the programmed times. Then we changed to Summer time and the off-peak heating started 30 minutes later than the programmed times, so i had to change all the times again. It seems to me that the programmer couldn’t be bothered with handling Summer time and set it at an average over the year. Not good enough!

App useless with the new iOS just will not load!!! Sort the bugs out and update the app pls!!!!! Paid a lot of money for something that’s not working!!!!!!!!!

Never use it anymore. Home Assistant custom component is far quicker and allows you to control your spa dynamically. Gecko’s business is selling to OEM’s. Not much interest in end users.

This app is awful and with all the updates to the iOS nothing has been done to improve the connectivity. The developers need to spend sometime working out why the app is so tempermental.
