Learn Japanese! - Kanji

This is an amazing app. It uses spaced repetition and teaches you everything about the kanji and does it in a very structured order. It shows you a kanji first, and then later on it will be a more complex variation of the same character with a related meaning. And it even has a whole dictionary where it tells you every way the kanji can be used. I used this app everyday and I almost finished the JLPT-N5 kanji already. The only thing I would love for the app to have is example sentences. But then again this is only a kanji learning app so im not surprised that they don't have it.

The female versions of the voice clips are atrocious, please change them or just let people use the male ones, it’s very frustrating to suddenly be annoyed by this months into this paid app.

The app is good but the writing part stopped working after few lessons. There is no way to jump over the faulty exercise

The reset function only works for a few lessons, and then old lessons return as finished lessons! Please, fix this issue. The reset should bring everything to zero.

His this is by for the best app for kanji I've tried. I do have 1 problem to report - it's been a few months since l practiced kanji consistently so I wanted to reset my data and start from scratch. However, I’m encountering the problem that when I reset my data, it applies for like a day, and next day when I am going to practice kanji, all the old progress is back. It is specially a big issue when I try to use the “review past due” function as it asks me for more advanced kanji I do not remember anymore (the reason I’m trying to reset the data in the first place). If this issue could be fixed I’d change my rating to 5 starts because the app is seriously amazing, I recommend it to everyone and anyone who asks me for resources to learn Japanese. I don’t usually pay for apps, but this one was well worth my money.

The app is super minimalistic and that makes it very boring. I would love this app if it wasn’t so boring. Maybe make some new quizzes to enhance my learning. And also if I want to have a personalized list, I can only choose the kanji I studied. So maybe make a feature where you can create your own list of kanji. Also maybe add a radical list. And you can’t even write some of the N1 kanji. So a kanji writing app that doesn’t let you write some kanji… interesting? And maybe you could add a progressive system where you take a placement test to see where your levels are and from there you can progressively learn more kanji ‘duolingo style’.

I paid, but I can’t unlocke the lessons on my iphone. On my ipad the app crashes as soon as I open it. If this can’t be fixed I want my money back.

First of all I love this app, however I do want to know if it’s possible to add kanji from other level to your review without having to do the whole lesson on it. I’m currently studying for the n4 but I’ve noticed that not all kanji required for the n4 is in the n4 pack. Therefor I need to look them up in the n3 deck. Since I only would like to learn the missing ones, I want to know if I can just learn that kanji and have it marked green so it can be added to my reviews. I really hope this makes sense :). Thanks!

Please fix this, after the latest app update when I press "select level" after launching, it crashes every time, so the app is unusable. I am using iOS 16
