MyHeating by Warmup

This is a dreadful app. The designers have tried to make it suitable for idiots but in doing so have made it terrible. The scheduling function is too complicated and written before anyone ever worked from home! In the end I resorted to using the warmup web portal which has simple start/end time functionality. Registration is mandatory otherwise your device is bricked. This is an issue if you are not able to complete registration while your installer is present as the only way to scan the barcode is to reset the device, thereby clearing all the important device safety settings like floor type and power output. Location setting can’t be overridden on the app so the device can end up with the wrong geo location, thereby rendering the schedules meaningless as well. In summary the actual device is pretty good but the app needs a proper overhaul.

Had the app for years with no problems but now it won’t connect at all .

Warm up system been installed to my house for 8 mont and since we start using it its been no end up of problem. Starting with freeze screen on all 4 controllers and have to reset power every time to make them awake again. App not working and can reset network on the devices now so useless system overall. Hope underfloor heating not fail soon as it will blow my head off. Ended up buying new controllers and replacing warmup ones.

The under floor heating product is excellent but who ever designed the app for this has made a very simple requirement extremely complicated and convoluted. Here’s an idea …. What about a simple on/off button? Or better still a simple scheduler for on off! It appears the app has predominantly been designed to make money and sell alternate energy suppliers rather than to support the actual product.

Keeps crashing on iOS 16.2. Completely useless. I have to go to the actual thermostat and manually manage it. Worst app ever.

So many flaws in this program. Cannot re adjust prices. All the days Edit, not just one day you choose Cannot be more adaptive with timings, program is not flexibilice enough. I wound seriously look at alternatives to this warmup system, this program is seriously out of date

This app is very badly designed and incomprehensible to use

Won’t connect to set up. No manual controls. An app design so poor that it doesn’t support copy & paste.

This is a review of the app only. The app has very basic functionality. It is possible to vary the thermostat setting from the app and adjust the program or fixed temperature setting that you amend manually and choose between them. But having used the app for almost two years I’ve decided it’s just infuriating to use. The app won’t tell you if the heater is heating or not. I could go on but pointless as what is really needed is an app that is easy to understand and easy to view the data in a single view. Thank you.

To the Developer...what’s going on? Was working fine until software update! My iPhone update is 12.5.6. MyWarmup app says compatible with IOS 11 or higher. MyWarmup app opens and can see the loading screen for a second then switches off. Tried reinstalling several times to no joy. Unable to find and install previous working version software!!
