Perfect but expensive for other countries
It’s nice but unfortunately I cannot continue because it’s expensive for Brazil. 300 reais for 3 months is a lot. I hope that someday the price could be adjusted by the country. :(

Didn’t seem to work well for me apart from being able to relax listening to the sessions, something I can accomplish with Headspace, as an example. Plus, it is quite expensive - specially when it doesn’t work.
I’ve been doing this for one week consistently so far - I feel calmer (I think I’ve fallen asleep once or twice) and it really teaches you how to disconnect and focus on breathing and subconscious thoughts, as well as positive affirmations that reinforce positive steps you’re taking. All while educating you through it all so you can understand and take control back. You’ve got to be open to allowing the proven techniques and trust the process. UPDATE: Now well into week 6 and I can’t say enough of how well this has worked for me. Consistency is key. I suffered for so long - and this has been such a blessing to find - a proactive step in managing anxiety and stomach issues successfully.
I had a hypnotherapist try without success to induce a hypnotic state in me when I was in college 50 years ago. He told me I was a “bad” subject, because I was “too skeptical”. It discouraged me from trying it again. But I’m amazed at the progress I’ve made in 5 days with Nerva! I love the hypnotist’s voice! I’m finding my gut issues already responding to the suggestions.
This is my first week using Nerva Hypnosis. I started with doubts, having spent my whole life coping with IBS-D and searching for relief. I am an 84 year old retired trauma Informed mental health counselor. I am also a complex trauma survivor. During this first week I am noticing subtle changes in my conscious awareness of tension in my body and in my outlook on life. I am using breath many times during the day to relieve tension. I am also feeling a fragile sense of hope that I could feel better living with this body for the rest of my life❣️
I’m into the second week of this program and I am noticeably calmer, with less GI problems. I’ve been on the low FODMAP diet for almost 6 years. It has helped me immensely, by reducing my IBS symptoms of bloating, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Because of the success I have had with the low FODMAP diet, I totally trust Monash University, where the diet was developed. Knowing that Nerva was developed by the same people, I was very interested in what else they have come up with. This program is educating me about the fact that there is a level of healing possible beyond where I have gotten to with the diet. I am understanding that the essential issue is a hypersensitivity of my brain - gut nervous system, and that can be calmed with hypnotherapy and diaphragmatic deep breathing. The hypnotherapy sessions are 15 minutes long, and there is a new one every day. There are short things to read every day, to increase my understanding of what is possible. There is excellent email support. The 7 day free trial allowed me to check it out adequately before paying. I have a clear feeling now that I will be a new person by the end of the 6 week program. I am so grateful that this came to me on my Instagram feed! I am now four months out from when I began the program. I am finding that I still need to do the hypnotherapy sessions at least a few times a week in order to maintain a pain free gut. After all, I have had IBS symptoms for about 70 years, so I understand that a little ongoing support in relaxation is needed. Again, I am grateful that this program is available and effective.
I live off of loperamide especially if I know I have to be anywhere where a restroom is not. I have IBS-D and it is aggravated if I know I’m going to have to drive, travel, go to an appointment, try to play golf, etc. I always have to know where the restroom is, I know where every public restroom is in my city. While the therapy is calming, I have tried to use the therapy/breathing before traveling etc and it does not work for me. I listened faithfully for the 6 weeks and I know it takes some of us longer but it has been 9 weeks since the therapy ended with no improvement. I guess I’ll keep trying but still have to take loperamide.
This program is really helping me with gut issues
Made it to week 6 on the Nerva program. Never missed a day of reading and of listening. I figured if I am going to spend $200, I need to follow along and stick to it and I am glad I did. Being in a colitis flare is a BEAR to deal with but the Nerva has helped me to pay attention to my thoughts and learn to be calm which has helped activate and regulate my para sympathetic nervous system. I am also doing the low FODMAP diet which has helped a lot to pinpoint food triggers and logging my daily habits to track is a great tool. Since I do not take big pharma meds for colitis, this combination has proving to be more effective and I feel better in doing so. Worth every penny!
I feel like I’ve been doing Nerva for 4-ish months. At first, I did it nearly daily and improved quickly. Now I just do it if I feel a little off or otherwise just want to relax and do something good for me; I do a session maybe once every week, give or take. My worst days now aren’t even 10% as bad as my normal, “everyday” days before Nerva!
