Love the app. Tried a bunch of others but this is the best. Just one thing that drives me crazy sometimes: The distinction between played, downloaded and not downloaded episode is hard to make out at a glance. imagine going through a list of 200 episodes and you have to concentrate and read if you have allready listened it or you stopped in between. that could be much easier by adding a (coloured) progress bar or something.

The new update looks great! It also made me realize that streaming caused many issues while listening to podcasts on the train. Waiting a few seconds to download them during the train ride is much more stable.

Unfortunately I need to look for a replacement podcast app. As other reviewers mentioned, this app got too unstable and unusable with the latest updates. For me the most annoying are crashes and temporary loss of progress, stopping after each episode (with continuous playback enabled) and downloading errors. Sad to let it go, I was a using this app since the beginning, for 10 years now :-(

Used to be perfect. Now no more streaming. In other words my phone stalls trying to download the world of podcasts. I just want to stream and only download what I actually listen to. Now I’m just using an older phone that doesn’t get this latest update.

I used to love overcast. Unfortunately after the newest updates the app is unusable. Playback crashes, progress is lost, downloads fail, watch won't sync. These aren't once in a while problems, they happen on every podcast I try to listen to. If your podcast app can't play podcasts and remember your progress, then it's not a very good podcast app. After using this app for years and paying for premium, I'm sad to say that it's time to move on.
