The music library on the server is supposed to refresh automatically. but this rarely happens and you have to refresh it manually through the Plex web app (scan library files). Other bugs as well, as black screen when reopening the app.

This is so great. It’s big fun to rediscover old songs that I’ve forgotten about or hear for the first times tunes that I’ve downloaded and never heard before. And the app looks and has a better experience than paid services. I can’t believe it’s free.

Love it

Streams good, well built! But, No Composer tag support. No ‘comment’ tag support and some more essentials. No simple way to export a playlist. I wish they will appear in next version. Oren

Really great for playing locally curated organic bespoke artisanally stored audio.

While setting up my music library I was like man I really wish plex had a standalone app just for music… and then I found plex amp and was amazed how easy it was to sync everything. Love the simplicity of it all and that it has dj capabilities making redescovering music super simple and it feels like Spotify DJ.

This app has been silently improving for the last year. I finally reorganised my music collection to migrate from iTunes Match to Plex after seeing the progress made. This app is shockingly good. It’s a jewel that not many people know about.

App not working properly on CarPlay it’s not showing all the information. When I go to list out artists it only shows letters A to K not A to Z

No more downloading my personal collection on my phone. I love that I can play my music on the go. The number of ways you can configure the app are awesome.
