Plexamp

Quite happy with Media Server and the app in general. The only thing I don’t like at all after using it for a week with Plex Pass is that you can only download full albums or playlist for offline playback but not individual tracks. How is this even not possible?? I’d love to submit an enhancement request for a future release.

This has a lot of promise. I have been going about in a different part of the world to my server for several weeks with this instead of Roon ARC and its more reliable and stable, it works super cleanly with my iPhone and Airpods/Max and is my go to for music at home and on the move. I would like to see better iPad integration for when at home and a few more chances to dive deeper into the music source. Larger screen art, some scraped reviews, that sort of thing. But this is a really strong contender to being my endgame music player for music on the go, at home and abroad! Seamless!

Can jot fault this app at all

“Sweet fades”, don’t, and thousands of my albums don’t appear at all. Seems to be no support, but a very good app.90% there.

Excellent app Don’t know why they limited downloads to 72 hours??

Longtime Plex user but Plexamp had somehow slipped by me. When I became fed up of Apple Music messing up / removing / replacing / adding random songs to my library without my involvement, I came across Plexamp and have been blown away by it. Everything you could want from an independent music app where YOU own the music and not “them”. The only problem I’ve encountered - and it’s a bit of a blocker on four wheels - is that I can’t browse my library at all via CarPlay. It resolutely insists that it can’t connect to my server. The app has no such issues on my phone, however, and if I set something off via my phone, CarPlay happily continues streaming from there (making a mockery of the server connection issue).
