I offloaded this app long time ago because of low storage issues of my phone. Now that I finally re installed it, so many things changed. Many features were removed as free like choosing the background color and font choice is limited to only two. And the most annoying part is that I cannot add a label. Is adding a label also included on being premium?
I noticed I can’t highlight text anymore. I’m not quite sure what happened. Please help.

I downloaded this app in 2012 when I had my first iPad and now, it’s still one of the best apps for saving articles! Great job to the developers.
The new update it bad. It doesn’t translate well to the iPad’s larger screen. Recommended content have become the focus and not the user’s saved articles.
I’ve probably been using this app for almost a decade on various platforms (except Windows Phone - I had to use a 3rd party client there) now and it’s been most useful. The settings section needs updating, especially on the iPad. I’m on a 12.9” iPad Pro and the settings look unoptimized/outdated on the larger screen. Changing display settings could be much faster too. The text to speech option is really good but wish end users could minimize its controls to the bottom bar and be able to follow along reading the article while it’s being read
I’m using the basic version but so far, I like the daily recommended articles and their in-app writings. It’s just disappointing to realize they don’t have features to mark articles your favorites, or when you’re done reading them, or not being able to collate your stuffs to certain folders/themes. Haven’t checked if it’s available on the premium version but I wish they’d expand the basic one too.
First, I am a premium subscriber, so as I have to demand to have the benefits of a paid version of the app. It is quite annoying that I have raised concerns for the past months and till now no positive outcome. I thought that with this update, the issue on article view will be resolved, but unfortunately, issues still there. I do understand there is the web view, but is it not that article view the main purpose of this app? I have compared articles in this app and another app having similar service that is way cheaper as it is one time payment, the cheaper app recognizes articles way better than this app. I sent another follow up email last week I think, no response aside from the automatic email response. So please, make this app work as it is intended to, and avoid saying to switch to web view. Free or not free, the app should serve its purpose.
This app is the best.
It's easy to make an account, to save articles offline, and collect them using Pocket. It helps me get my regular reading even without internet. This has kept me entertained for so many hours you won't even believe. The perfect app, truly.
