Procreate Dreams

As a someone with a bachelor in animation, I literally can’t work in this program. I don’t know who it is made for, but certainly it is not character animators. The program is so finicky, and things that should be easily accessible, like retiming frames or selecting part of a drawing is either very difficult and frustrating, or missing altogether. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money…

Thank you for making this app its really good and easy I use to use flippaclip which doesn’t have a lot of tools so I’m really grateful to you guys still needs some work other than that it’s really good for long animations.

I really like this app I do, but there’s so much missing and I got that it was a pretty new app when I got it but none of those things we’ve all been wanting has been added yet, or some mistakes haven’t been fixed (the audio disappearing, every thing you’ve just drawed getting deleted by one tap even if it wasn’t in one line, being able to group all your layers but not being able to merge them together afterwards, the Lasso tool NEEDS to be added etc…)

I was really exited to try this but i think that it is a little bit of a let down. It doesn't feel very natural to use and when i swipe on my ipad to leave the app it makes marks on the canvas. The audio input system is lacking and I much perifer Flipaclip for that. There re waytoo many hidden features that are crucial but you have to watch a million tutorials to find and the lack of a lasso tool is very annoying. Also the bottom bit is so dark it is hard to see everything and as far as I know there is no light mode. I also with it had the feature in procreate which allowed you you make perfect shapes.

Its a great app but seriosly we need the lasso tool!! I get so frustrated When drawing, cause i cant use the lasso tool to tweek thing so they look just right! Its just an important tool and its so anoying that i cant use it! So please ad it Also it would be Nice to be able to flatten layers like in procreate

The app is for what it is an amazing achievement, and i can see how this could revolutionize the industry some day. The fact that you get so many great tools to animate for that price and that it is a one time payment is absolutly amazing, where the app faulters is simply that it is still very new and there are still many things that are yet to come to the app, like the lasso tool or the continue color drop, i have also had some problem with brush sizing that keeps changing when i zoom in and out, regardless of if the dynamic brush scaling is on or off, but i am sure all this will change within the next few month, and even so this is still an amazing deal for anyone who wanna try animating.

So I think that it’s actually great and I was exited to try it, but I feel like it’s missing basic but key elements!

I’ve loved Procreate for a very long time and I will always support whatever the team brings us. I finally bought Procreate Dreams. Maybe I’m not seeing it, but I do wish the team would have been more specific with the limitations on older iPad Pro models. I knew my 2. generation would probably struggle, but not this much. It gets frustrating real quick. I guess it’s time to save up for a newer model.

I’m missing a 25 fps option, but other than that this is a brilliant app 👍🏻 if you like Procreate and want to do animation, you need to get this.

Have followed along on youtube and this tool looks amazing. Thanks for not making subscription. Also for the low price. Feels like a steal! Hope battery is uptimized compared to procreate.
