The updates are too slowwwww still no lasso tool and other feature like symmetry tool. So disappointing.

This was the great hope for iPad animation but Savage has managed to not apply the things they learned from Procreate to this one. The app is incomplete and incredibly unintuitive, even painful, to use. How do I increase exposures of a cel in flipbook mode? How to I remove a frame in flipbook mode? How do I remove or adjust a gap between cels? How do I swap two cels? These are basic things that both a professional and learner animator need because we don't animation right all in one go. We need to test, edit, make changes, remove things, nudge things. It's unreasonably slow, uncomfortable, obscure or impossible to do things like this in this app. There's so many obscure gestures for basic things and hidden menus that I only discovered from random tips videos on youtube and still they have missing options. The app has been out for months and hasn't addressed a lot of basic things. I really wanted this app to be good. For all the innovations it brought, the release version failed to be a good basic animation app that people would enjoy using like desktop programs like TVPaint. No wonder people have basically stopped talking about it.

I like this app but the app is lagging for me Can You Fix it?

when messing around with the app, I find it very pleasing to use (half the time), it is also compared to another animation program called toonsquid. I think if you do a merge with the dev of toonsquid, both of you can significantly improve the app. I will list some of my complaints: 1. Undoing will undo more than one action (which is irritating) 2. No lasso tool (people gotta make adjustments you know) 3. The timeline feature is not explained well enough (like the tips and tricks on how to use it) 4. Brushes are not editable (it is annoying to have to import every single brush from procreate) 5. Minimal tutorials 6. Still need a lot more features from procreate. 7. I use and actual ruler to make straight lines even when theres a ruler tool, will that scratch my screen?

Many important features in animation are missing. Coloring for frame by frame animation is not efficient at all.

love that they finally made an app for animation but there is one problem that i don't know how to solve which is the brush getting blurry when i zoom in. it seems like a burden that I have to zoom in and redo the brush strokes to make them not blurry anymore. is there a way to solve this that i missed? apart from this problem, very much recommended

Hopefully, updates will happen soon enough since there are quite a few problems and missing key features like being able to rotate your character or being able to set a background. overall, it has lots of problems and lots of inconveniences For example, the entire layout is alright at first, but after double tapping by mistake- it zooms in on the layers and it’s hard returning it to its original state where all individual layers were visible without having the layers thinned out and having a longer timeline. It’s annoying having to continuously leave the project to be able to restart its layout.. For an animation app, it’s pretty mediocre currently. The original procreate honestly had a better layout when it came to frame by frame animation + it was way easier to use

I love the recent update! I have one question tho. Is it possible to add a selection tool or lasso tool in draw mode? It will be a big help since I often notice my mistakes after replaying my animation.
