The less I drink, the better I feel
Using Reframe for six weeks, I have cut back my weekly alcohol consumption by about two-thirds. I am sleeping better. I look younger and more fit and I have dropped 10 lbs. Most important, I no longer look at drinking as a main activity I want to do. An occasional beer or cocktail now seems like an enhancement to a social activity, not the main point. Reframe is the right tool for me to change my relationship to alcohol. I’m not a go-to-meetings sort. Instead the daily check-in with Reframe has made me a mindful drinker (and mindful about other things in my life as well). The resulting cut-back has been almost effortless. Instead of pounding back three or even four bourbons in an evening, I am getting much more satisfaction playing the piano and getting better at it, something I always wanted but never got motivated to do. I like how well-thought-out the app is. It keeps me coming back each day. It’s not my intention to become a non-drinker, but Reframe has made me into a smarter alcohol user and not abuser.
