After last update, it will crash straight away on iPhone 11 Pro
Hmm 2 days after my all evening problem with that set up :(
I feel like Sensibo has changed my life for the better. I can make sure the house doesn’t get too hot or cold when I’m out. Either by checking and manually adjusting, by scheduling it or by setting a temperature parameter so it changes itself if it gets too hot or cold. I have set up with Google home too so I can verbally adjust it. Compared to not knowing the temp, having to dig up the remote or leaving the air con on all day because it’ll be too hot at 3pm, it’s FANTASTIC! Side note - don’t know why the last reviewer talked about scheduling being behind a paywall, it’s just not. I don’t pay a subscription and I can do it all. I don’t care about it getting fancy with bom integration or needing it to suggest schedules I know myself so haven’t subscribed for that stuff. How wonderful to be able to adjust the aircon that’s in the next room from my bed without having to get up and use the remote! Brilliant! Love it P.s. this is the best review I think I’ve ever given a product. I have recommended Sensibo to so many of my family and friends.
Works super well for me with our Daikin split aircon (AC) - much better than the Daiken MobileController native in most ways. Also works well with our Alexa assistant which was a big deciding factor in us getting it.
Constantly advertising the ridiculous paid subscription that locks away what could be useful features. A real slap in the face for people who have forked out $100+ for the device. Really gross behaviour from Sensibo. You can’t remove the “Sensibo Plus” features from your app either. They are constantly there in your face, trying to get you to buy into the ridiculously priced monetisation scheme. Even when you dismiss the reminders to pay into the subscription, it’ll pop back up a little while later, reminding you this company has no respect for you as a customer or their own reputation and just wants to wring every penny out of you that they can. AVOID SENSIBO! With peace and love
Ads at the top after buying a product. Can they at least be at bottom so I don’t have to scroll past them every time to use the app functionality
The subscription features are things that would be offered as basic functions of any smart device, especially one you’ve paid for as much as a Sensibo unit costs. I can’t see why my $10 IR hubs can do functions that my Sensibo thinks are worth charging a monthly fee for. I’ve used mine for many years now and I’m happy with the performance of the hardware but the existence of a paid subscription for the app and the fact the developers gate basic features off makes the software experience feel like a weak cash grab. With a subscription service like this I absolutely wouldn’t buy any more Sensibo devices personally since I don’t think you actually get what you pay for up front, the hardware cost means nothing if the developers are able to decide to gate off features and make users pay for them.
Just installed one of two Sensibo air pro’s I brought and didn’t have any problems with the setup process or the functionality controlling the air con. However once up and running I noticed the displayed temp was 10% out ( 2 devices showed 25c, Sensibo 22c) humidity no where close ( Devices showed 60%, Sensibo 76%) and air quality TVOC no where close to other devices that measure air quality. All other devices were within 1% of each other, the Sendibo being the outlier. Temp and humidity can be “calibrated” via the web login but it doesn’t give me a lot of faith on what the Sensibo sensors are measuring.
Always works. Easy to set up and use on my phone and I love I can set it up that it turns on when it hits a certain temperature to make sure my pets are safe when I’m not here. Also love the fro fencing which turns it on when I get close to home and turns it off when I leave. Love love love Sensibo!!!!!!!
