Shame …….

The concept of the game is good but the update and new arc implementation is way, way below bad. Almost every update that is issued creates 3 or 4 new bugs for everyone it cures. At the writing of this review, the game is 48 hours into a new arc update and there are a large number of newly created bugs, that drastically affect play, that have yet to be resolved. This does not include the unresolved existing bugs. Scopely’s ability to update and maintain the game’s programming is almost non-existent.

Best App game ever !

It’s totally possible to play for free, join a good alliance and you will have the best time with this game paying for stuff or not. The well known storyline and the community is the strength of this game and it never get boring. It’s a slow and steady game with a lot of events and diversity and it’s after my opinion one of the best App games out there. Fun for high and low levels, but do join an active alliance as soon as you’re able to 🖖 Live long and prosper 👍

Bland and awful - not real Star Trek

Very generic and boring pay to win upgrade game with no tactical, fun, or interesting aspects. Doesn’t have anything in common with Star Trek at all; no mystery, no exploration, no dilemma, no wonder, not even actor voices. This is just an unoriginal nonsense game with Star Trek icons, familiar faces and names slapped on….the game devs are obviously not trekkers.

Wrong direction

I really used to like the gameplay and community, but during the past few months, you have no other option than to pay to win sadly. You will be outplayed badly and get kicked out of alliances if you don’t pay ingame, cause you can’t keep up with other players who do.

Pay to Win

Build and Wait type of game with very little real PvP strategy. Stronger player wins - always. You may want to protect your resources by shielding and you can buy those shields with real money. Game is engineered to make you spend money. Unless you want a game that you will be clicking for every hour or two for progress, then don’t waste your time with this!

you can play for a long time without spending money before the play to win factor ruins the game. By that time you will be getting bored with it anyhow.

My favourite game

Ive been playing without paying for two years, game is good. Game has developed alot and has changed for the better latly. Its possible to use loads og money to progress fast and high, but Also possible to Get fairly good ahead totally without paying. Find an active alliance and try to learn the different aspects of the game, alot of the progress is dependent on daily missions, events, and following up on managing base/resources/ strategy on what and when to research/build/upgrade. Some bugs and challenges now and then, but not more than we can manage. Oh - and shield your base!!

Really buggy

This game is very buggy. It will crash often and badly. Expect long waits when nothing happens on your screen as the game waits for server feedback. Other players might not be affected, so finding that they have acted, perhaps killing you while you have been stuck. Also when the game updates you must accept the risk of losing your game and all you progress. That being said the game is highly geared towards pay-to-play. Becoming progressively worse as your play continues. It’s only saving grace are well thought out mission scenarios. They are really lovely.
