Authy got hacked

No idea how to even get in touch with support.

Authy holds your accounts hostage, locked into their system with no way for you to export or back up your data. What happens with Twilio cuts their losses and shuts down Authy? What if you want to move YOUR data to another service? Oh, but that's not all - want to delete your account? Be prepared to endure an absolute gauntlet of a deletion process, only to be told you can't delete your account due to so-called "security measures". This is why countries are passing data and anti competition laws...

I have 4.7 inch display, the font of text labels is brutally small. Microscopic. Icons don't help if I have multiple accounts of the same service. The support of Authy is rude. I was told I need to get a phone with larger screen size. I guess I should walk around with a tablet instead!!

So many problems with this app. First of all they require you to make an account with them and provide your phone number. Then to make matters worst, they hold your 2FA seeds hostage so if you ever want to switch to another 2FA app, you have to manually login to each service and generate a new 2FA seed. It’s beyond ridiculous and they’re the only 2FA app I’ve seen do this. If you’re new to securing your accounts, I highly highly encourage you to seek other options. I used Authy for a while when I was misinformed and switching away from it was a nuisance.

Decent. Needs better way to automatically distinguish multiple accounts for the same site. Lacks a desperately needed complication for Apple Watch. This is especially important after Apple’s latest updates prevent apps from being favourited.

You need to provide phone number in order to use the app.

This app is totally useless. You download the game and the game requires you to download this app and as you start the security process, it asks you to enter the verification code and it doesn’t even work and if you try doing it manually; they don’t tell you where or what to enter. You have to give yourself a logo (for god’s sake no idea why) and then your left with a code which doesn’t fit anywhere and absolutely no instructions on what to do, no help icons, absolutely nothing. I hope people read this so they don’t waste an hour of their time typing to figure this out. I was looking forward to this game when I saw the ad; but now I’m just annoyed and will be deleting the entire thing from my system. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!
