Urban Sports Club

I used to have a gym subscription before this. And call it monotony, but it took a lot for me to be excited about being regular. Urban sports changed that for me. For the past 2 months, I’ve tried out many forms that would’ve been out of reach for me. I explored how Yoga was something I loved, cold baths that changed how I felt after a shower, and so much more. Also the late fee, although stinks - is such a great tool to keep you from cancelling. There’s always a few things the app can do better on, but I love the product and the experience. Can’t recommend it enough!

They just changed the service and the website lies. It says you can have unlimited check ins, but 1 per day That is not unlimited . Please change this

Who needs an app that’s user friend? The 24 hour between devices is a joke. I was forced to carry my iPad to the gym because of this unfriendly user policy. So may other issues with this app and service I don’t have the time to waste to give freely to this app so they can make improvements and more money off of me.

I started with USC in 2019. Since then they’ve raised the prices significantly and taken away privileges aggressively. The last drop has been the once per day check in. It’s absolutely disrespectful to their existing customers. This has truly ruined the little regard I had for this service. I’ve found that a membership with Holmes place is much more worth it as they have several locations in Berlin offer many classes and have some great spa facilities. I really hope someone comes out with an aggressive competition to this service. RIP Urban Sports Club.

I find discovery to be clunky and inefficient in the app. Searches and parameters are not saved, and you never get spontaneous inputs or updates that something new and exciting related to your preferences is available. In fact, I don’t get the sense any preference is saved. There’s no ability to have more efficiency in the flow I used every day which is checking in at my favorites. Every time I go to a service provider I still have to pick what I’m doing. I do functional fitness at Crunch fit wedding every couple days and that flow remains super painful … validate my location is nearby and just let me do this in one click. Saving things that aren’t courses is also a mess. Finally, in what is clearly a deliberate design decision, you can’t freeze/pause membership in the app. Why not? Feels just cheap. Again, I am forced to consider why and it doesn’t feel like the app is thinking about me as a long term relationship but rather a user to trick for one more month accidental membership. I value the service offering though, and I think all these things are correctable and possibly unintentional, so I’ll review and update this if I see improvement on all 3 issues.

Only allowing me to enter the gym I live near 8 times a month for quite a high monthly price simply doesn’t make sense. Paying the gym for a membership costs less

Love my membership, but the app stinks. Filter function and venue search consistently don’t show results that are perfectly easy to find on the website, which means you need to favorite or schedule them there just to find them in the app.

No idea why there are such low ratings, I love this app and the concept! I recommend it to everyone💛

The only reason why I use this app, is because I actually genuinely like Urban Sports. But the design and usability of the app is an absolute disgrace for a modern “start up”. You should rebuild everything from the ground up - if you can’t do it yourself find a good agency, invest some money, and fix this. There is so much potential but this is shameful how un-usable the app is. If you don’t fix this soon I might cancel my subscription.

First off, I love the concept of urban sports. However the app has some serious navigation, filtering flaws that I really hoped USC would fix.Ultimately, I spend about as much time browsing Urban Sports for my next activity than I do actually doing them. This needs to stop or else I'll just cancel my subscription.
