The latest version puts two ads at the start then a permanent ad over the buttons that you need to operate the cameras. Truly incredible AH design. Every single iteration of this app has added more frustration.

Cannot share to family member

Can’t share to family members also using Yi Home using a different Geo location Mum uses USA, but cannot share cameras set up for NZ. Tried and got different error messages (not the same user/expired QR/error) even though I’ve set it up with specific email addresses and deleted and reset up cameras AND share QR codes. Frustrating to use. Will most likely upgrade to better service and non Yi product.

Crashes on iOS, I suspect due to ads. Sometimes freezes at start screen and I have to restart app multiple times until it gets to an ad that will load properly.

Works well overall, camera times out on occasion. New update with ads is brutal though. Advertising with sound and video is pretty painful when you’re trying to check on a crying child in the night, also when you have to skip the same ad twice just to get into the app. Especially when you paid money for the camera to begin with.

It tries to force you to pay for subscriptions , making this app unusable , I would buy a new camera rather then paying them
