App crashes before payment.

Tried to purchase ticket through the App and after 4 attempts, I gave up. Most useless travel App I have ever seen.

This app is a complete rubbish. PayPal option doesn‘t work at all. If you use the credit card option and have entered all details then it says that the transaction failed. So I buyed the tickets at the station - one day later I received the mail with the e-tickets so in essence I‘ve been charged twice.

You cannot add your payment details before purchasing a ticket. As trains are frequently delayed, I only wanted to buy it at the station. As you have to add your address, post code, phone number and email address when buying the ticket in Victoria where the Internet doesn’t work well on phones, I missed the train. It’s actually faster to buy it at the machine - or in fact fastest not to use Gatwick Express at all and use your contactless card on the following Southern service, which is also cheaper.

You would think buying tickets with the App would let you slip the queue, unfortunately you have to queue nevertheless just have your tickets printed by a machine...

Why isn’t it obvious to the App designer that the homepage should show a ticket search and/or purchased tickets? Instead the entire page is a link to X (Twitter), and navigating to search or tickets is a tiny little button somewhere hard to find, and the process is not at all intuitive. It defies belief. And are they even paying attention to these reviews!?

When you take 10 minutes to download the app, set-up your account then order tickets, only for the transaction to fail for no apparent reason (I bought plenty of other things today with that card) you know you have a crapp app

What use is this app if you can’t tell what time the trains leave? They only run every half hour so getting it wrong can make a huge difference. Utterly useless.
