Software no longer connects to Neato servers. • Can not connect to my Neato robot • Can not start/pause/stop cleaning runs • Can no longer access my map • Can no longer access my routines Made the mistake of unregistering my D8 in hopes of reconnecting to fix it…that just completely emptied the app - now my D8 is a zombie that “sometimes” works. (I will retract this review if an update resolves these issues, but Neato is shutting down 🤷‍♂️)

Stay away! Has been promising support for multiple floor plans for more than a year, never delivered. Impossible to effectively use in a multi-floor apartment. Zones don’t work very well. Barely any updates. Behind the competition. Manufacturer seems disinterested in customer satisfaction.

Needs ability to add a 2nd neato. I want get another neato for my basement but held off as i want be abke use the same app. I only have 1 cell phone

app crashes about a week and I cant login.

App only allows one vacuum, only one floor plan, and issues with tilted map. No notification of firmware updates on vacuum. Developers need to get an update out to address these short comings ASAP!

When you create a new routine and disable “clean entire map”. It says “ Select which zones you would like to assign to this routine. Turn this on to clean the entire map.” But it only allows you to select 1 zone on the map? So I can create a routine to clean either the entire map or 1 zone ?

Disappointed that Neato hasn’t updated their existing app for a year…essentially abandoning existing customers. I have a D7 (the newest of the “older” generation I guess) and it’s brutal that I can’t access updates. For the price, I expected ongoing improvements to the (mediocre) app. I’ve loved my D7 but won’t consider upgrading with Neato.

Slightly older models are not supported by this new app and the old app has basically been abandoned by Neato. There have been no firmware updates to the current products to fix known issues and they have essentially just walked away from their existing customer base by launching this new app that only supports their upcoming lineup of products. A company like this (not a household name and not a major player in this space) should be more concerned about word of mouth reviews. They’ve burned the bridge with many of us existing customers so what will I say when friends and families ask me about the product? I loved the vacuum when I got it and when the company was offering updates and support for it but this decision has left a bitter taste.

App doesn’t work. I can’t connect to the vac.

This app stinks - one minute it recognizes my account, then the next it doesn’t. Tried to creat a new routine by selecting the plus sign, then after entry and trying to save, it says the routine does not exist - of course it doesn’t exist, I don’t was in process of creating a new routine. And good luck with asking for help within the app - 24/7 service does not mean 24/7; not even the answer bot is available. So I have a useless but $$$ Neato vacuum now.
