One giant mind
Love the app but the video library has no sound with any of the videos. Please fix it, I’d love to utilize this feature. Great app, great instructions. This is the best form of meditation I’ve discovered.

I used to love this app, used it daily. It was so simple and pleasant. The latest version has a bunch of sound problems. Glitchy “clicking” in the left channel, and a really abrupt ending gong. I really really hope they fix these issues soon, seems like an issue after this past version update.
Won’t work past the intro
The meditations are great and the right program for me. But exactly as others mentioned: the music is glitchy and distracting, sometimes the voice cuts off and repeats, the wake bell disappeared after day two, so the voice is startling. Most annoying to me is the learning videos after the session have no sound. They have recorded and loaded dozens of videos that are useless because unless you read lips, you can’t hear what he is saying. I agree with others, it seems like fairly simple fixes, I’m not sure why there is no motivation to fix. I did email app support as well.
Started up meditating again and restarted the 12 steps, when I completed the second day there were a few hiccups during the session where it paused for a second and then paused and actually tracked back so the speaker repeated himself. Then when I got to the end, it paused and stopped and went back to the beginning and never recorded that I actually completed the session. So it says I still need to complete step 2. So I went ahead the last two days and just went for meditation timer since I had already been through the 12 steps and 30 day challenge a while back. It doesn’t show on the app, nor on my iPhone health or fitness that I’ve completed any sessions these last couple days. And I’ve double checked that I’m synced. Just some minor bugs, the meditation is for me whether it shows up as “recorded proof” or not. But something to look at maybe.
A follow-up to the original review below: now the app has stopped sending verification codes to my e-mail, so I can’t use 1 Giant Mind at all. [I’ve been using this app daily for years, and am very disappointed in the upgrade—it's not an improvement. The new version requires an e-mailed code each time you log in (before, you simply used a password), and is generally more clunky than the old. It feels like the beta version of an upgrade.]
I'd really like to use this meditation app. since I've heard such great things; however, the app. doesn't allow me to register. I enter my email address and then it gives me the prompt to enter the verification code, but I never receive the email with the code. I can understand bugs within the app itself, but to not even be able to get the registration email seems strange.
Loved using this app daily from 2016 until the latest updates requiring an account creation and the functionality of most of the app getting locked behind a paywall. Disappointing.
I’ve been using this app for many many years and love it. It’s a great place to start and continue your meditation practice. However, earlier this year it’s glitchy it seem like two of the music meditations for the 30 minutes jumps toward the end, which is kind of annoying. And there’s a glitch starting a session please fix because I really love this app. I would give it a six star or even a five star but there’s glitches a new please please fix.
This app is just pure gold for teaching how to meditate. From what I have experienced, this is the most relaxing way to meditate to reduce stress and bring mental clarity during the eyes open experience. I am so grateful to Jonni Pollard for creating the 12 step course and the 30 day challenge. The videos and content in the app help with the learning process so much. Can’t give it enough stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
