Not what I expected.
I orderedAcorn thinking it would be like BBC but many are foreign, and the app isn’t as user friendly.

I’m suddenly unable to stream to my TV through Chromecast. The new app hasn’t worked for me except on my iPad. Emails to Acorn have amounted to no help.
Mysteries
This is the second series I have watched on Acorn. I really enjoy Australian mysteries and will watch more after I finish all seasons of “My Life is Murder”
Don’t do it!
It’s impossible to cancel your subscription. Once I finally did after jumping thru hooks I unsubscribed cancelled my subscription. Have a print screen of me cancelling they’re still charging me and sending emails. Customer service is a joke I’ve email them over & over with no response. What a joke!
Phenomenal
Such great programming! All actors fantastic. So different from American TV. Actors are not pencil thin. More true to life people that you can related to. I’m cannot say enough good things. Writing!! Oh my….♥️
Thieves
I canceled my subscription in August of 2023. They reopened my subscription under a different email using my card, last name but a fake email and fake first name. Swear you can’t trust anyone this days and it’s just so sad

Problem with subscribing
I keep starting subscriptions outside of Apple TV but it never lets me watch anything, says I need a subscription. I’ve tried different emails/accounts and the same thing happens. I cancelled everything now but it would be nice to watch it after I subscribe. Do I have to have Apple TV subscription first and then get the Acorn app through them? It worked when I did it that way but I don’t have Apple TV anymore.

Will NOT connect to my Chromecast from my iPad. It did a month or so ago.
