Acorn TV: Watch British Series

Without warning we are unable to watch Acorn on a perfectly good 2017 Samsung tv. Unfortunately the app will now only work on 2018 and upwards. At the same time we can no longer watch it on fetch. Such a shame.

Why can’t Acorn tv show schedules in Australia be exactly the same as the British or other countries schedules- I’m paying all that money on subscription only to wait year or so after the show is shown in other countries to be shown here - it’s quicker and cheaper to buy the dvd then wait almost 2-3 years to see the latest episodes.

My experience with Acorn has been a positive experience. I now want to cancel my subscription but I don’t know how. Help?

The app is terrible (inc the web browser version) and one of the worst around to use, but tolerated it to watch Agatha Christie’s shows, but of course they had to remove them after only a couple of months so now are left with the dregs of cr@p tv shows no one wants to watch!

In spite of every other streaming service streaming perfectly in HD, Acorn continues to buffer and hang. Fed up with the poor experience and have put up with it for too long. I will be cancelling my subscription and NEVER renewing again

This has to be the worst streaming service in the world! Constantly buffering even though others never do, and god help you if you want to try and rewatch an episode you’ve already watched - it won’t let you because it does replay from the start, it automatically skips forward to the next episode and there’s literally no way around it! F you Acorn and your POS service!

Great content, but it’s constantly buffering while watching shows. You only get to watch a few seconds (not minutes) and it buffers, then again a few seconds, and buffering. Extremely frustrating it drives you nuts!!! None of the other apps do it. 😫

It’s not my Wi-Fi because every other app works just fine. Hopefully it will be fixed as I do love the shows on the app.

Do not download and sign up for this service, even after you quit it years later they come back to sneakily remove money from your account. This is not the first time I’ve had to contact them about it either! It’s absolutely not worth the annoyance for years later!
