I recently returned to using this after pausing Adobe a few years back and am shocked to find how buggy it is. I’ve had multiple crashes on pressing the button trying to capture “shapes”.
Quick easy time saver
Easy to export and use, huge time saver
Good but one little thing
On the whole this is a great app and I use it all the time to get my little sketches looking neat. Just one thing that bothers me is that you don’t seem to be able to select multiple shapes and then share. When you are in selection mode it only allows you to delete the selected items and not anything else. This is frustrating because I often take a group of photos and then want to export them all at the same time but at the moment I have to go through one by one. This seems like it should be such a simple feature so I really don’t know why it doesn’t have it or maybe I’m just being stupid haha. (Although if it is already a feature in the app and I just haven’t found it, then it needs to be made far more intuitive)
Gotta drop two stars I’m afraid
I have used this app for a very long time and loved it, I mainly used it for graphics and shapes, conveniently capturing silhouetted objects and having them ready and waiting in my cloud library I love to capture the hundreds of colour palettes I come across every day My only criticism and concern is the turn the text recognition system has taken. Not only is the suggested fonts very jittery but it barely recognises any font these days and before anyone says you need a less cluttered background I’ve used it for a few years with great success and tested this version on poster fonts for a while and it is now absolutely atrocious, it constantly fails to recognise clearly printed words on contrasting clear backgrounds. I have always given Adobe capture 5 stars because as a Multirole artist it is an invaluable tool, seriously I can’t praise it enough so this comes from a place of love for this app and sometimes features take wrong turns but that’s the whole point of app development and criticism. The pattern feature is also amazing and doesn’t get the credit it deserves but my favourite part of this app apart from the simplicity and close reach tools that aren’t 6 swipes and several yes/know boxes away is the palette tool! Damm it should be mandatory for all artists. I just really hope this tool is fixed. I will continue to use the app but I can’t give it 5 stars until this is resolved or removed.

Deleted 5 years of work with new update
Used to love these apps but with the new update it logged me out and then deleted 5 years worth of work I have lost everything :(
