The app said the parts qualified for a discount but when I checked out, it said I had no parts. That qualified for the July deal even though it said on the app I had four spark plugs that qualified for the July deal. Not so happy about that but over all the app was easy to use. I sure could have used the discount!!!

I use an iPad Pro in the shop with a keyboard to order parts, etc. so it is positioned in landscape mode on the integrated keyboard holder. The App only works in portrait mode! How incredibly annoying! I have to turn my keyboard sideways to read/use the app or pop the iPad out of the keyboard. I usually have greasy/dirty hands so this is a huge inconvenience. So, I just go to the competitors sites/apps that have brilliantly designed their apps to work in landscape mode. Can’t believe they have an app that can’t rotate into landscape mode in this day, my goodness!

I received exceptional service at the Advance Auto Service on 7/2. I couldn’t have asked for a better service representative. He waited patiently for me to create an account so I could get a 20 percent discount and assisted me accordingly. I commend him highly and will recommend this spot on East Blvd to anyone.

When attempting to navigate the app it keeps jumping to the bottom of pages (sometimes other random places). When I copy a part number from somewhere (web browser or document) it cannot be pasted into this app. Tapping in the search field a second time to get the paste option just shoots me to the bottom of the page. When I search for a part name it usually doesn’t find what I want so I resort to part numbers but long numbers are not easy to type. Attempting to use the Advanced Auto website just brings up the app without asking so that only works for the searches if I delete the app.

Advance has competitive pricing and well stocked inventory of parts. If they don’t have it in stock and you let them know early enough in the day, they can have it trucked in same day. Or the next morning in many cases. A lot of their parts have a lifetime warranty and will replace a faulty part without a hassle.
