Have just started but I like what there is. A fairly simple interface considering the options, even if it’s not always that clear what will do what. The experimentation is very rewarding. Also, seems to work just fine on my rather old iPad mini 5, which I think is from 2020. So it isn’t all that vicious when it comes to requirements.
Having paid for the original Affinity I now have nothing after it was pullled from the App Store and then they release Affinity Photo 2 expecting me to pay for it again! I won’t be buying anything from this company again and I strongly urge people to do the same. Just Google the Affinity Photo and you’ll see for yourself how they have conned thousands of people and got away with it!
ALL the buttons either don’t work or do something else. No working back button, no save at all. What a waste of time.
A one week trial wasn’t enough time to decide if this software was worthwhile investing in. Shame.
I have and still happy to us affinity paint v1. I don’t want v2. I owned version 1.. but you’ve stopped it working. It’s like , you stole it from me.. Disgusting.
Just beginning to get the Hang of Affinity Photo for the Mac. The iPad version seems totally inscrutable.
Brilliant in every way. I have dementia and I swear using and working with this daily has an enormous affect of pleasure. I’d give all the stars available in every aspect.

A real full featured editor fast and so cheap. 1 payment own for life, stacking panoramas, HDR, RAW editor… and a lovely interface… My go to….
It has some nasty bugs: - If you import a picture from Photos, whether you save the project or not, if you exit the app and re-enter, the the project loses connection to the picture and there is no way to relocate the picture from inside the project. Additionally if you try to access the Develop persona while in this circumstances, instead of simply telling you that the action cannot be performed due to missing resource, it simply crashes. - If you add an adjustment layer, unless you first select a pixel layer, it does not allow you to re-add that same adjustment layer a second time. Inefficient - In the export page it begins generating the export as soon as you tap on any button even just to view the available options. It is an awful waste of system resources. Plus other stuff I don’t recall now. I would expect better quality and features from a company opened in 1987. But still better than most similar apps on the platform.
