It is extremely awful to use
completing the customer info is not easy. The info often does not save and has to be done again. But once completed the boarding cards are good.
Really slow at times. But my big complaint is trying to change flights. I paid extra to be able to change flights. In my app, no where possible to do this. So had to log in via safari. One day the tab to change flights was there,,, then it wasn’t. Impossible to change flights via safari. I logged in via Google, and the tab to change flights is there. I can have safari and Google open next to each other, on safari there is no option to change flights, but in Google it’s there, clear to see when both browsers are open next to each other. But, shouldn’t need to log in via a browser as it should be in the app. It’s a really inconsistently performing website / app. And is always slow when going from one selection to another.
This is perhaps one of the worst airline apps I have ever used. Several buttons don’t work. When you add a booking, it doesn’t automatically add the frequent flyer number to the booking, very slow app when moving from area to area.
Check in online very glitchy and cumbersome to navigate.
June 2024 I down loaded twice and it just shows an airplane flying through the clouds
Everything takes ages and in the end nothing works. Doesn’t recognise KLM Flying Blue Accounts. This app is reason enough not to fly with this airline.
Tonight the app tried to charge me €423,000! I had looked at seat changes but did not submit. Apparently that alone held back my ability to check in, resulting in a mix of odd error messages. I suspect the app was trying to charge me in COP but the whole of the UI said EUR. I also find the need to enter the same contact details for multiple passengers rather tiresome. Lastly the app is simply slow whenever it’s processing stuff in the backend.
When your flying, it’s stressful. You need your apps to work correctly. This app is terrible, buggy glitchy. Not good at all. Don’t use if you can avoid
On Madrid to Medellin flight two weeks ago, one very small meal, no other service offered, charge to use headphones so didn’t bother, old type of charger so couldn’t charge phone - very boring and uncomfortable and we arrived hungry and exhausted. Not looking forward to return flight tomorrow night. We are bringing our own food. Never had such a bad flight
