The Apollo Neuro is my most frequently used biohacking tool. Wearing it on my wrist or lower leg, along with Smart Vibes, is a no-brainer. It provides the support I need during the day and has helped me extend my nightly sleep from around 6 to 7+ hours.
Got this as a gift from my husband, we are trying to focus on self care. I love that you can wear the Apollo on other places besides your wrist. I wear mine on my ankle and usually forget that I’m wearing it. The first few days I wasn’t sure if i was feeling a difference but now that it’s been a month I do feel better. I sleep better, I don’t wake up throughout the night as much as I use to and I’m not feeling tired in the mornings. I also feel like I am able to focus better at work and don’t feel as stressed through the day. Only downside is the cost of the smart vibes subscription. You can still setup a schedule that you create but you can only chose from a list of 7.
I’ve been using my device for six days both day and night and both of my usage data fields show absolutely nothing. I’ve contacted customer support. They told me the same thing twice. The device I bought my wife is helping her however mine is not. Update: I’m impressed how my HRV has been balanced every day since I got the Apollo. I’m a long distance runner therefore recovery is of paramount importance to me. I tried the one free month of smart vibes I like the convenience, however I find the subscription a bit pricey for my budget. I bought the 2 pack in a promotion, paying for 2 subscriptions is a bit expensive. I’m seeking an inside out approach to my health and Apollo helps me stay on that task making my health a main priority.I’m 41 year old male working with special needs children at my local school district,(stressful sometimes chaotic) situations seem easier to digest staying focused on the vibration) I feel in my arm. Ever since I bought the Apollo my going to sleep and waking up times have been more consistent current sleep scores using my Garmin watch went up a point from my previous month without Apollo. I am more focused and feel greater awareness of my self and the importance of self care and my surroundings. We are sound and frequency and this little thing lets me feel more empathy towards others and their suffering as well as their joys allowing me to engage with others and rebuke the isolation that leads to depression. I am a combat veteran suffering from a moral injury, sleep has been a challenge Apollo helps me keep my mind from wondering when trying to meditate at night using the calm vibe.
They have very good customer service. They really care about their product. I purchased this band a month ago. What I can tell you is that I have had some of the worst news this past month. I wear the band every day all day long and I am in a much better state of mind. I do believe it helps with anxiety and overall sleep.
I was very pessimistic about this product to begin with but at this point, with my condition, I was willing to try anything. It has helped me since I’ve been wearing it which has surprised me. I have recommended it to several people.
Used for a year w no change. Total waste
Newest update has ruined this device, both my husband and I on our apollos cannot feel it at even 70%. Fix it! We miss the old Apollo and could actually feel it vibrating at 25%
I’ve been using an Apollo Neuro for years now. I primarily use it for sleep. I tried Smartvibes for a year and was annoyed by it more than I was pleased. I like some of the extra vibes that were available with that program but it was never my intention to wear the device 24/7. I thought the Smartvibes would help with staying asleep but after a year I was disappointed that they did not work for me so I canceled my subscription. I do track my sleep every night with an Oura ring. I was disappointed that all of the extra vibes like Joy and Love and Good Morning and Good Evening went away as they are now behind a paywall. I thought about re-upping the subscription for full access but the pricing is all over the place no was paying $79 and when I canceled on Apple the renewal changed to $69. On the app itself it says “try free for a month and then $99 a year after.” I think everything the Smartvibes do you can set up with a schedule. Really disappointed in this subscription model.
Pros: Works Great! This arm band works so well. I immediately feel energized when I use energy, get so much more done when I use focus, and have a much easier time going to sleep and getting back to sleep with the sleep function. We actually got these bands for my teenage kids, who have some health issues. We tried them out to better understand what they would experience and how to use them and ended up buying 2 more so the whole family could have some. Cons: Battery & Lack of Features Unfortunately, if you really want to help stay on task with a daily schedule, the band dies before dinner time. And even at way less usage (the recommended 180 hours), the battery is not sufficient to make it 24 hours. The battery needs to last 5-7 days to make this band viable for its potential. Additionally, it looks somewhat like a home prison tracking device. And it’s strange wearing a band on the arm and not being able to check the time. Both of these issues would be fixed with the addition of a watch face and watch feature. To be clear: this device is not a GPS tracker or HR monitor. It doesn’t sense o2 and can’t connect to your phone for messages. It’s completely different from health/fitness/phone apps. (Wouldn’t that be wonderful if it could do the vibrations AND had fitness app features.) so if you are looking for a fitness app, this band is not your cup of tea. Conclusion: If you are looking for something that can hijack bad cycles in your nervous system, override them, and give you more energy, focus, and better sleep on your preferred schedule, this band could be for you. It has done wonders for me and my family.
