You can now set daily limits (up to €/£ 20,000) on payments from eligible accounts. Also, Republic of Ireland customers who are primary credit cardholders can now permit additional cardholders to see more details, including real time balance and statements for the card.

Terrible App
I can’t believe how bad this app is. It’s like it was developed in 2010 and has never been upgraded. Everything from the slow and painful, manual log in to the lack of functionality and within the app make me sick every time I need to log in. I have experience using other banking apps in Australia and to say BOI is behind times here is a massive understatement.
If only I could give zero stars I would. Terrible.
Atrocious
The worst banking app I have ever used. Very slow and regularly crashes. I will be changing banks due to this. BOI need to change their app system.
Unusable
App is about 10 years behind the rest of the industry. It longer works on an iPhone 13pro which is hardly an old model. Couldn’t give it zero unfortunately.

2010 called and wants their app back
Possibly one of the worst apps I have to use, or have ever used. Terribly out of date with no new features, difficult to use, buggy and only designed to protect Bank of Ireland from fraud now, no usability for clients. If there was another bank I would move banks based in how bad this app is

OMG this has to be the worst banking app in the history of banking apps. Stupidly slow and needlessly clunky. It’s so bad you’ve got to think that BOI did this on purpose just because they could. BOI if you want to see how to do mobile banking just ask any Australian bank they are so far beyond this it’s embarrassing.
Updated but sadly worse than old version
I was looking forward to the new design and it was very disappointing. It takes an extraordinarily long time for it to load the login screen and it just gets worse. Can the developers look at other banking apps. I’m based in Australia. Please look at ANZ, Westpac or Commonwealth. A few lessons could be learned.
