Description

beorg is a to-do list and task manager app that puts you in control. You can see what needs to be done on a weekly agenda from the moment you open the app. From simple task lists to managing complex projects, beorg helps you keep on top of work, family and everything else. Files are synced in the plain text Org mode file format to iCloud, Dropbox, WebDAV, a folder in another app, or Box*.

beorg is free to use with optional extensions available as individual in-app purchases - or become a beorg Premium subscriber to unlock everything.

+ GET IT DONE: When adding tasks use the optimised UI to quickly add schedule or deadline dates. Shift dates with ease by day or week.
+ EXPORT PDF: Generate PDFs of your outlines to save or print.
+ KEEP IN SYNC: Sync your org files using iCloud, Dropbox or WebDAV. WebDAV is supported by services as OpenDrive and ownCloud.

Background sync? NextCloud folders?

I have background app refresh enabled for be org, but it looks like I need to switch to or launch beorg to get it to sync the capture file after adding content i.e. via a share extension if firefox or any other app. Also, why can’t I choose a folder in NextCloud when it is installed? Is I a limitation of their integration with the Files.app?

Nearly Perfect

Theoretically this is the perfect companion to Emacs + Orgmode. In practice though, it is unfortunate that the only options to sync files are rather inconvenient for Linux users that do not use the provided syncing options of Beorg. Therefore please implement a feature where the user has the option to select the syncing folder inside the files app (for example) or something similar. Personally, I'd like to see the possibility to connect to a NAS via SFTP but this is maybe a niche feature. Great App, just one feature missing.

Fantastic productivity tool!

I’m a long year user of the GTD methodology of David Allen which helps me in my roles as CEO, programmer and lecturer. For the implementation I have used many things, but since years doubled down on the best option: Emacs org-mode and since the release of Beorg, also Beorg for when I’m on the go. Thank you for creating this wonderful application!
