Description

beorg is a to-do list and task manager app that puts you in control. You can see what needs to be done on a weekly agenda from the moment you open the app. From simple task lists to managing complex projects, beorg helps you keep on top of work, family and everything else. Files are synced in the plain text Org mode file format to iCloud, Dropbox, WebDAV, a folder in another app, or Box*.

beorg is free to use with optional extensions available as individual in-app purchases - or become a beorg Premium subscriber to unlock everything.

Best org-mode app!

Thank you for this amazing app! Has become an indispensable tool in my daily organisation and I’m slowly tapping into the more advanced features as I streamlining my org workflows.

Almost perfect

Sometimes I get a recent edit lost because of a conflict (even though the file wasn’t edited by any other program). The newly added items do not always show up in the outline. Besides those issues, hopefully fixed in the future, the app is amazing.

Solid work, good sync options.

Has widget. Does the Orgmode job.

Almost unusable on 4“ devices

I think this is generally a great application. Unfortunately its ui has been optimized for large screen devices what makes it a pain to use on my 4“ iPhone SE I encountered the following issues: - when editing the keyboard and its toolbar above covers almost the whole file content - the date picker for scheduled tasks is not fitting on the screen and i am unable to select the lower buttons There are some more inconveniences but these are by far the most annoying issues. i would love to use your app on a daily basis and hope you can provide a fix for these problems. Great App but missing a few features

First off: Beorg will be the best App you can find for Orgmode on iOS. Stat. I love using the terminal on my laptop but on a phone, you simply need to work differently. And that‘s where beorg really shines. Especially today, it‘s not so easy finding a good to-do app that will work with an established standard (even iCal) - I simply love the app for being so uncomplicated while working with a plaintext file. Also I applaud the decision to give the user the choice to pay for individual features as well as supporting the app with a subscription. There‘s only a few (little) things I‘m missing: - Option to show tasks scheduled for today as badge (currently it only seems to show overdue tasks) - Refresh badge upon notification (when you cross the deadline of a task, it will give you a notification, but the badge will only be updated the next time you open the app) - Quicker marking as „done“: I split my projects into multiple smaller tasks and therefore tick of a lot of todos. it would be great to have an interactible checkbox right next to any todo item that would mark it as done without longpressing it item and then select „done“. It would just remove a step between getting things done.

Super App, um den org-mode auch mobil zu nutzen

Insbesondere für Todos ist es super beorg zu nutzen. Am Outliner muss noch gearbeitet werden, aber das wird noch. Und man kann es entweder mit Working Copy benutzen, um seine org-files in Git zu sichern und zu synchronisieren, oder komfortabler/automatisch mit Dropbox oder Webdav. Tut was es soll!

Update: I retract my statement below. I think it is fair to offer all subscription features as separate purchasing options. Sorry about that! I don’t have a problem paying money for an app or extra features but in a world where almost every app asks for a subscription is insane. If you don’t offer a web service that has running costs that need to be covered I won’t pay for a subscription. At least the developer could have used the business model that the agenda app developers used: if you pay you get all current pro features and future ones as long as you keep paying. And if you stop paying you keep all pro features that were thus far developed. Super fair. But this goes in the bin. Good bye.
