Guys, it’s 2024 and you app for £350+ headphones doesn’t have an equaliser?! Speechless
Functionality seems much improved with recent upgrades and my PX7s now work fine with multiple devices.
Paid good money for these and they do not work at all. This app hasnt been updated for ages and B&w Dont seem to care. Never seen anything like it!
And I’m afraid it’s been like this for. Couple of years. It connects to your headphones for about a week then it disconnects forever. The only way to reconnect is by deleting the app and starting all over. Which becomes tedious.
V 3.1.7 works fine with my P15’s none of the problems that others have mentioned not sure if it was corrected in latest updates on headphones mine are version 1.0.9 I would not the reviews put you off the P15 or 17 they are both excellent and certainly my P15 work fine with the app and connect instantly with my iPhone 12 as soon as you remove them from box
I’ve given up trying to connect my PX7’s via the Bluetooth, very frustrating and disappointing as the B&W products are such high quality, it’s a shame I can’t say the same about this app.
Hi, Around the time the new versions of the px7 came out i started getting issues where turning on any level of the anc caused the left earcup to hiss audibly and very annoyingly without restraint. A factory restore cured this and reset the headphones but whenever i use the app to manage headphone connections it returns. Ive since paired the headphones direct to my phone without issue, and tested them at length in several situations requiring large amounts of anc intervention such as the tube, flying and general day to day city living. It doesn't surprise me that they want to force users into abandoning older hardware to get them to buy the s2 px7. But when the hardware is fine, i still get 15+ hours of battery life its very transparent.
Not only this app is useless (ie it has nothing to offer in the set up or functionality of the IP7 earphones), it actually obstructed the connection of the earphones to my iPhone! It appeared as though it would connect to the IP7s but blue light would not turn to solid, Bluetooth area of phone would not formally accept (despite saying connected) and music would not play. After almost returning earphones, I deleted app, ignored instructions and simply connected to my phone’s Bluetooth directly - voilà!
Been reporting this issue for a year. Now 3.1.6 bug fixes & improvements comes out (28/6/22) and quest what, 12 months, still no change, still no fix!!?? Clip sensor still faulty. B&W never fix. Still awaiting a fix for Clíp Sensor pause which no longer works as product description. Music will no longer play unless this is turned off. Reset as suggested makes no difference. Nor setting up new device. Taking months with ‘no sign’ of attempt to fix, as per experience of other reviewers on here with their issues!! Come on B&W, great product when working as intended, however, tech software damaging product user quality. These products aren’t cheap so software support should back up cost of product!? Still no attempt from B&W to address fixing software. Has become their trend…
