Won’t let new users create an account.

Installed Boxcryptor today, went to login page to create an account, only to be told “bad luck, only existing users can use this”. So based on this, for me, the app doesn’t work at all.

Boxcryptor is an excellent app. I’m surprised by the free version being so good. You are very generous Boxcryptor. I will soon move to a paid subscription version of Boxcryptor as my need for security is growing. I think you, the Boxcryptor team, need to advertise more broadly as I’m sure many people don’t know of Boxcryptor’s existence.

Feature Request

Can the developers please implement local storage access, eg on device, USB access, possibly using DocumentGroup if using SwiftUI. You can use FileDocument to encrypt and decrypt the files on the fly. Contact me if you want more technical details on how to implementation code would look like.

Basically the best

The Boxcryptor application on both Mac, windows and iPad is the best I have used. It is stable on the fly encryption. Only suggestion I have is the ability to increase the 4gb cache to as much as user wants.

Serious WebDAV bug!

BoxCryptor thinks a WebDAV folder is a zero-byte file. Consequently, I can't access the entire folder. Other iOS WebDAV client (eg Readle's Documents) could see that a folder is indeed a folder. Useless app!

Good software but this update breaks s3

As stated, s3 auth fails on this update with a date/time error.

Great product and service

I've used Boxcryptor for almost 6months now and the software works intuitively on Windows, Mac and IOS devices. The service provided and ability to easily configure and manage the security of your data is worth the yearly subscription cost. I've used free alternatives for a few years before Boxcryptor and could never find anything that worked as well.

Locked out from the start!

The encryption is so good it locks all its customers out. Too confusing and lack of instructions on how to get into App. Classic IOSX version 1 is nothing like IOS version 1 which immediately offers cloud only no local iPhone disk use. A Breach of basic Marketing and design principle term "classic"when products are totally different. IOS App doesn't open and asks for email? and password but offers no help in creating one or what its for. If its free, you should at least be able to get into app and take a look around then sign up to use features. But no clear communication on what to do and spent 2 days trying to work it out. The terms make it seem like you would face rendition if liable to extra fees and would need a German lawyer to defend yourself just to because you tried the free account basics. Pavement system is punitive if you don't use cards. Just have in app purchases with iTunes cards instead Overall App locks you out from the start and tells you to go away... A Big FAIL! Learn to communicate with your customer and stop living in a Boxcryptor
