Is Bupa Be.Me legit?
⚠️ The Bupa Be.Me app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
After completing a lengthy questionnaire, having just installed the app, 30% of it was wiped out for an unknown reason and I had to complete again. I followed the links to several articles and none of them downloaded due to a 500 internal server error. There is no Back button. It does not inspire me either confidence. What a waste of time and money. I expected better of BUPA.

A few improvements and teething issues
I like the app and the initial page. The recommendations page is also good but none of the links work for recommendations - it gives an error page. For older people who may develop memory problems there should be a section on brain health and memory testing, which could be incorporated into the app - specifically it is now possible these days to get person-specific outcome measures for memory issues and resultant recommendations to improve and maintain brain health.
No metric option
Tried you use it but I can’t be beyond providing height and weight - but there’s no option for metric and without entering it I can’t get further.
Frustrated Bupa client
Doesn’t actually have any results in it. Just lots more services … have tried 5 different Bupa apps in fruitless search for blood test results.
Sync with Apple Health doesn’t work
Synchronising data from Apple health doesn’t work properly. Pulls in the steps ok but exercise mins don’t pull through and stand count is completely wrong. Have my health assessment on Monday so hope they don’t base advice on these incorrect stats.
Mental health questions
Health questions were unrelated to my concerns and no option to describe my concerns. Did not find it that useful.
I received an email saying I had not completed the mental health section. This is now the second time I’ve completed it and do not see any place to confirm it’s complete.

Keeps crashing. Pointless.
Filled in questionnaire, was about to get results and the app crashes when it’s about to present my results. Useless. Had to delete.
App not working
After you log in you get a flicker of the Home Screen and then the app shuts down. I'd read other people have been having the same issue in the recent reviews so I deleted and reinstalled the app. This had no effect. I clicked the "app support" link from the Apple App Store which took me to the Bupa website. I went through the ridiculously long process to get onto the web chat which involves entering your personal details and question then being asked for all those details again by the agent. The agent then asked if I had deleted and reinstalled the app (even though my question clearly stated that I had done this). She then gave me a link to try in a private browser, which didn't work and brought up a message saying "this connection is not private..." She then said she would have to raise the issue with IT and asked for my email address...a third time. What a ridiculous faff. Sort it out Bupa! Ideally without asking me to contact you again as I've already tried that and I'd rather spend my time doing something productive.
