With Call a Bike, you are spontaneously and flexibly mobile around the clock. Whether you're on your way to work, after work or on a city trip, with Call a Bike you can rent a bike at any time and anywhere in Germany.
A total of 13,000 bikes are available in over 80 cities. You can also use the app to hire a bike from StadtRAD Hamburg and Lüneburg as well as RegioRadStuttgart.
All bikes are displayed on an interactive map in the app. You can rent them using the QR code or by entering the bike number.
You can pause your journey: simply activate it in the app and close the bike lock.
To return the bike, take it to one of the Call a Bike stations that you can find on the interactive map in the app.
You can view the details and costs of your journeys in your bookings at any time. You can also redeem voucher codes, report damage and manage your customer account here.

Het idee achter de app is heel goed, een vrije fiets nemen eender waar in de stad en achter laten wanneer je het wil. Echter werkt de app vaak niet, blijft vaak hangen. Met het starterspakket kost de huur van een fiets voor een dag maximum 9 euro, er staat vermeld dat er geen ‘fee’ aangerekend wordt. Maar lees de algemene voorwaarden goed! Ze vermelden de extra kosten die ze aanrekenen niet, waardoor je plots heel veel geld kwijt bent. Zo wordt er een kostprijs van 10 euro aangerekend als je de fiets niet aan een ‘station’ achter laat. Beëindig je de rit en neem je een paar uur later exact dezelfde fiets, dan worden er opnieuw kosten aangerekend alsof je terug een nieuwe dag gestart bent. Laat je niet vangen en ga voor een andere aanbieder, er zijn er velen in de stad.
