Words of Wonders: Teka-Teki!

Its easily the best app I have used to learn Chinese. I am learning Cantonese though, so only use it to learn to read. I would therefore appreciate a function that allowed me to bypass the focus on correct tones etc. Other than that, I am a big fan!

After working for many years in China I picked up Mandarin and can speak more or less fluent but did not learn to read or write Chinese characters. I got the app for my grandson to support and encourage him to learn Chinese. He challenged me and I got it too. So we are in a competition now over far distance. We both enjoy the app and make progress. My only complaint is that some characters are just to small and difficult to read (e.g. when you have to select the correct one out of four). It would be nice to have an option to save some characters to personal flash cards for later selftest. After all it‘s a very nice and usefully app not only for kids but also for „for ever young“ adults 🙂

I’ve been looking for an interactive fun Mandarin app for a long time. Just downloaded it and so far am impressed with the amount of detail and content it has. Can’t wait to play more!

Really fun way to learn. Great to use on the bus or train. Never pushes you too hard... that’s for class time

This app has been immensely helpful for learning Chinese! The pictures mixed with the hanzi are great for memorization. Anyone trying to learn should use this app

This developer made a second app with high subscription pricing instead of updating this one. I feel let down as a long time customer.

I am retaining this so much better than when using duo lingo. I can imagine a few improvements, and it's a little pricey, but I am enjoying this learning process. Definitely a good way to learn to read and speak Chinese.
