Chineasy is excellent for learning some frequently used characters. When paired with some other Chinese learning apps it is very useful! I love how it works on Apple Watch too, for quick micro lessons.
A nice little app, but as far as learning Chinese goes I think it does next to nothing. I’m 40 or so lessons in and it just seems to be the same repetitive learning method. Okay I know how to say 吃 and 我, can I please see it used in context now? I found it more useful to download a free Chinese hanzi PDF and just make my own creations of the signs, download a grammar book and start making sentences for free. I bought the membership, but gave it up after 2 days since I realized it was way too slow.

Chineasy cards seem to me like an app with lots of potential. Although it’s not there yet. I would really like for there to be an easy way to manage my subscription as well as to be able to choose wether I want to practice simple or traditional characters. It would also be appreciated if the cards could be categorized for more specified memorization.
I connected my Apple ID and I’m met with a loading screen that never completes. Just a spinning cursor.

It’s a pretty good app for very beginner and fun! I wish there was a way to add the word of the day to the words I’ve learned/review words, or add words I’ve learned outside the app or in the explore part of the app to review.
