Chineasy: Learn Chinese easily

After trying the free version of the app, I had to buy the full version. It was the first time ever, that I was willing to give money for an app. This app is incredibly well made and so so user-friendly! Learning is actually so much fun and I cant wait to learn on it every day, thats how good it is! A big big compliment for the developers of the app❤️ Also the amount of progress I have made in such a short time is very impressive. I had never even known a single word in Chinese before usind the app and after one month of constantly using the app, I was able to actually understand some (very easy) sentences in Chinease, which made me very happy! I just wanted to say THANK YOU for creating such an amazing app! ❤️

In the many years I've been using the App Store, I've never written a review (shame on me, I know). But Chineasy excites me so much that I simply have to write my very first review. So, here it comes: A huge compliment to ShaoLan and the whole Chineasy team. The app is informative, educational, beautifully designed (great UX and UI!) and just fun to use. I look forward to learning new characters every morning (which I really struggled with before) and reading and listening to your blogs and videos and podcasts. A most entertaining way to learn Chinese! Keep up the good work!

The way I am learning Chinese is unbelievable.

Excellent app. Tried several ones a couple of months ago and now I’m learning almost every day and feel pretty much progresses. Methodology is just awesome.

I have the card game since a couple of years and now found this app as I am picking up learning again. It is a very useful and rewarding learning experience! Well done!

A really simple and fun way to learn chineas.. I‘m at level 90 and feel already addicted, like I‘m playing a real game

This is an innovative and very useful app. The only fault I can find is in the strange handling of traditional and simplified characters. When a character has both forms, only one is show, and apparently there is no way telling which one it will be. 門 is traditional, while 国 is simplified. To my understanding, it is not possible to change this behavior. I would suggest to implement a choice of characters: either traditional or simplified. The current implementation may be OK for users only interested in getting by with the spoken language, but is too confusing for those interested also in reading and writing. Thank you for you consideration.

I’m a very visual person who likes explanations and this app is perfect for me. I’ve used other apps to learn Chinese but this one is the most intuitive, in my eyes. And it’s easier to memorize the words and symbols when you see it in a drawing - again, personal.

I started using this app to support my sessions with a tutor and it has been really helpful to memorize words without much effort. You can also tell that the creators really love and respect Chinese culture, as there is a lot to learn about history and customs, apart from the language.
