I bought a lifetime membership years ago, now they want me to pay. Not happy!!!

Beware

Auto renewed my subscription for $270! There is no helpdesk or support, no notification or reminder that it would be renewed. I wish them ill with the fire of 100 suns going supernova.

Love this platform! Long time user

I have been a member through Craftsy, through Bluprint & now Craftsy again. It has upped my crafting game enormously, particularly in baking. I am now starting to win competitions, getting known for my style of baking [which is a little out of the ordinary], and I’m starting to teach others what I know. However, for people getting the Craftsy service through a ‘deal’, for example a 99 cent for a year’s subscription to the hundreds & hundreds of classes, or through a gift, the settings are for auto-renew … if you give your credit card details then this is what it is for. Please look for any boxes that are already checked for auto-renew & uncheck. Once you have signed up, you can go back into your settings and remove your credit card details. The other way is to put a note in your calendar function a couple of days before the renewal and make sure that you have the auto renew box unticked. Please read the fine print, because Craftsy are NOT allowed to take out ANY funds from your bank account unless you have given permission. Otherwise, I LOVE the platform & I do look for deals myself … usually around American public holidays for special occasions. For example, Halloween, 4th July, Thanksgiving etc.

Can’t play on my Apple TV

I used to be able to stream from my iPad to my tv but suddenly that feature has stopped working. I’ve reinstalled the app and checked all the settings but it still says “no devices available”. This happens on both my iPad and my iPhone and doesn’t happen with any other apps. It’s very annoying.

WOW very impressed

I received a gift subscription to Craftsy and i must say I am very impressed. I hadn’t really looked previously because of a few glitches with purchases but they have certainly improved. The quality of the videos/lessons are great and i am enjoying learning the different crafts. My only improvement would be a way to quickly favourite the videos as i have watched a few and now cant find them when i go back to watch again. this is frustrating when watching a cooking one and then thinking later i would like to cook it but then cant find it. Some that i e watch are not showing in my previously viewed. Overall though i am loving my subscription and if you are crafty then i encourage you to subscribe to Craftsy. It is well worth the money.

Very disappointed

The app will not play any classes, it comes up with a streaming error and none of my purchased classes are showing in My Stuff. Extremely disappointed in this app. 😡

Premium

I have a premium account on Craftsy. Although I can access some of the classes, I cannot access the ones I used to be able to. ie. Doodle Wars. I find this frustrating. I can see the class but it is “locked”. Very good app though I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn a new craft or baking hobby.
