I used to love this. I have been trying to open the app for days but its stuck on loading. I have so many purchases on this app. I hope the issue gets fixed soon.

Not for experienced crafters looking for patterns. If you want the basics to learn something new, this is for you. I was hoping for something more than just the basics.

Buyer beware

I purchased a discounted membership only to find out you have to pay additionally for each and every class you want to take. And when you’re trying to find a link to cancel, good luck. Don’t fall for it.

I saw a deal for a 2 dollar year subscription. Thought cool I can check it out and cancel it, which I did immediately. I tried it out and it sucked. They had so few tutorials and the ones they did have are ugly. Flash forward a year later they keep trying to charge me even tho I cancelled immediately. I’ve called the bank many times they’ve tried to charge me like 7 times. Do not fall for it this company is bad and evil.

Wish it work with Apple TV

The app works fine with my iPad and then I have to use AirPlay for viewing on Apple TV. I often wonder how much more difficult is it to have Craftsy to work directly on the Apple TV platform.

Decent app but missing tons of continence features where I just end up using my desktop.

Please update the TV app and phone apps to have speed functions. I find myself not wanting to use the apps because the teachers talk to slow for me, but it is a hassle to connect and watch on the go with my computer where there is a speed control so instead I just find things I need on YouTube. A speed control for apps would be very helpful and I think a lot of people would like the app more if it had the same functions as desktop. And also cross connectivity between desktop and mobile. Very needed. It is very frustrating having to refind all the classes I saved on one on the other, and also very inconvenient that my spot in those classes isn’t saved. Thank you.

Does Not keep Downloaded Classes

2busy4me on

Updated 12/11/24 second time of attempting to download classes ro use while traveling, got to watch one, the others went bye-bye twice because to app chose to without closing down the app or it deciding to close on its own while downloading! Needless to say the app is not worth having! Works OK if you always have Wi-Fi . It allows you to download classes, but they do not stay downloaded which is very frustrating when you need to utilize it where there is no Wi-Fi! I have needed to download courses 5 and 6 times to use them. One of the reasons I bought Craftsy was to use when I have time, frequently while traveling. It does me no good to take the time to download all the different classes in a course and then when I go to use them to have them disappear and tell me I don’t have anything downloaded (3 times today with very slow WiFi when I do get any). For the price they want their service, the app should be flawless! I did get a response from them and you can see it below. They did not address the problem well. I downloaded two sections of a course made sure I never rebooted my device and left the app open, and I still lost them after a couple of days. I think the issue is I am not always on wi-fi or cellular and the app does not know if I have exited it or not for when I go in without connection even though the app is still supposed to be open, it I still have to log back in!!!! If I could give them no stars or 1/2 a star I would! Very frustrating from a person who was able to do this with the original app (before it was bought out).

Unable to sign in

muchado on

Pointless app. Signed up on website but unable to use the app or even log in. Gives error of unable to restore user entitlements. #72775. Emailed support got a canned answer and proved no one actually read the email. Glad I only paid a buck or so on a deal for the account for the year cause I would be very unhappy if I paid full price. Won’t be renewing for the next year. Edit: Ahaha. The canned developer response here proves yet again they are not actually reading the feedback. How do I follow even the first step of your “troubleshooting” instructions if I can’t even log-in in the first place?? And yes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times
