It’s like they thought let’s make an insane marketplace where we offer everything at different prices and bundles, will take a year to create accounts, add money, decide what to buy and which way. Pukesville. Instant turn off.
I have a critical observation, when pressing the bottom trigger to activate a stack of lanes in the follow mode, if you press the three little lines the options window opens, if you press the arrow it blinks to indicate it will jump to next column. But if you touch some better arrow and little lines it will eventually move to next column without a visual cue of flashing. Not sure that’s a bug … how about a colour flashing 3 beat countdown or something? This app seems solid and full of options - it doesn’t need M1 to run properly like Apples premium product and it’s cheaper. Triggering loops and lanes in Gband is less satisfying visually for me. Is it a groove box or a composer? I might come back to it again and try to make something with it.
I have the full version via Roland Cloud Ultimate. Zenology is the future, but not on iPad it seems. iPad Pro 11” I’m only able to access the controls that are visible on each page. It looks like it needs scrolling to the right but there is no way to do this. You have no idea how much I’d pay just for a standalone Zenology Pro on iPad.
I gave this app another try, a year or more after my first experience hoping for change. Sadly, not much has altered. Roland still have the silly ‘points’ system for their in-app store, and are still offering a subs model. The interface still looks like something Depeche Mode might’ve fiddled with in the early 1980s. I wanted to like this, I wanted to feel like I should buy in to the Roland ecosystem, but ultimately it just feels like the developers missed an opportunity to make an app that could rival Logic Pro on iPad.
I found that despite having paid I can’t actually export anything, so whatever I record can only be played back on my iPad. I think I’ll stick with AUM and Cubasis, at least they have the option to export songs.
Running in latest iPad Pro with connected midi controller keyboard. Midi learn recognises controller cc and works, however when I save the patch then reload it the learned midi cc’s often no longer work so I have to remap time and time again. Come on Roland support please fix what is an otherwise good App
iPhone 14 pro & certain functions/GUI’s are off screen, behind the screens island feature (the minibar where front camera is) & also couldn’t login with my account. Please fix as I use the Roland cloud on my Mac , very keen to see what the app on my phone can do

Has huge black bars on all sides except the top, making it unusable for me. No settings or UI scaling options make any difference.
