Depop Reviews

Nice, just add more features.

Great app! Easy to use, and super organized. I just think that for sellers, you guys should add a few perks to make selling easier. Something I think would be helpful would be if you let us change the shipping price of all listed items at once instead of individually. Also being able to send pictures and videos through Depop chat would be helpful. Increasing how much we can type into our account bio would be great, and the ability to respond to reviews would be nice! Overall a super cool app! :)

Slow :(

I love this app so much but every time I try to open the app it takes forever to load and recently its just not been loading at all which is very frustrating

Bring It Back!

Aside from the horrendous bugs we’ve had for literal years on this platform that they just refuse to fix, the hud being updated constantly for nothing but the worst is insane. We now have offers crushed into our messages and you can’t even delete your messages because the app is too laggy. Additionally, on the homepage, ‘new from your sellers’ is all the way at the bottom. Recently, Depop provided the option to edit your photos within the app, which was AMAZING. It saved me so so much time actually worked better than Adobe’s and Canva’s BG remover. Then they literally got rid of it within a week’s time and I haven’t see it back. Why would you do that??

Doesn’t get much worse

1. It’s so easy for buyers to scam sellers if you use paypal. Multiple times I’ve submitted proof of shipment and everything, but they decided in the buyer’s favour and issued refunds. 2. Whether it’s AI or what, my listings are constantly being taken down for “false advertisement” or “inauthentic items” even though the description truly and accurately matches the photos & item. I’ve now been locked out of my account bc of this. 3. There’s zero option to appeal bad reviews or even comment on them like google. The same customers that scammed me, left bad reviews bc they didn’t receive their order during a NATIONWIDE POSTAL STRIKE. Now, future potential buyers will be deterred without even having the full context of why that review was written. It was fun to shop and sell in the beginning, but DO NOT depend on selling as a form of income. It is too unstable of a platform and you could end up losing money due to a lack of common sense from the depop team and users overall. I’d like to keep my shop open, but time and time again, depop has proven to be a joke. Not to mention how much money they take from you for each sale. I understand that the platform allows sellers to make money, but the share % is absurd. Depop can make a HEAVY profit without having to take that much money from the people who keep the app running (sellers and buyers). I don’t see it lasting much longer.

no fees for canada would be nice

Depop kind of sucks now

Depop allows sellers with terrible reviews and multiple reports to continue selling on the platform. I’ve been selling and buying on depop forever now and they have never responded to any of the accounts I’ve reported.

Early 2000’s Playboy top/ request IDEA

Baby Vanessak on

I just got the cutest early 2000s yellow and pink Playboy Bunny top and G-Unit low-waisted jeans from 2004-2005! It’s crazy how these pieces have lasted over two decades despite being worn so much, while newer clothes barely hold up anymore. Depop should really add a feature where users can share their purchase lists, with an option to make them public or private. Influencers could showcase what they’ve bought, inspiring followers to hunt for similar items. Adding lookbooks for styling inspiration would also be amazing!

extremely buggy

though i love depop, the app is constantly having issues! sometimes it won’t open, sometimes features won’t work, etc. i’ve heard of others having similar issues, so i know that these problems are because of the app and not because of my phone. it’s a shame that it’s such a buggy app

Sold over 4000 items on here since 2020 and keeps getting worse.

Over the 4 years I’ve been selling on this app they haven’t fixed the random crashes, every other month the app changes in a mind blowing and frustrating way. drafting posts on here has become an absolute nightmare. Every month they change where the offers tab is and now it’s just mashed into the messages as opposed to being on its own? Why? What a mess. If I didn’t build my business on this platform I’d happily delete the app and more to eBay. Figure it out. They’ve made thousands of dollars off me and my sales and I have yet to feel like they deserve that business at all.
