DS audio allows you to stream music stored on your DiskStation with an iPhone/iPad wherever an Internet connection is available. Better yet, with the offline mode you can listen to songs stored in the device’s local memory for when no network connection is available. You can browse music by albums, artists, folders or genres, create your own playlists or share them with your friends, and even rate your music! And if you have dedicated stereo speakers at home, DS audio can also become a remote control to stream music to them.

Synology, you are a big company. Please pay some enthusiastic programmers for half a year and this app can EOL in peace! For Example, A Feature I am missing is a "All Songs" list, and the navigation feels more complex than it should. And: the genre section really is not great, I for one listen to a lot of drum and bass and the genre is not even shown. I don't need to see the genres where I don't have a single song. Please please please :)) this is needed because I feel like every user will find this confusing
Great App with some potential
I love it and use it all the time in my network. It’s just so convenient and works with all my UPnP players. I tried so many platforms but found no other that let me keep using it, except DS Audio. But one thing drives me crazy. There is no search function. I just can’t search for a song, an album, an artist or a radio station. That’s so annoying and frustrating. Please bring this function into the app for my iPhone. And also show the file type and quality. Aah ya, and let me use the app and play the downloaded songs on the go without an error because of not being able to logging into my network and the NAS.

du wechselst den Interpreten, zum Beispiel von AC/DC zu BEYONCÉ, und es dauert jedes Mal EWIG, bis er die neuen Titel angezeigt. Nicht geeignet als Musik Server!

Bitte macht ein Update damit Mann das FORMAT ,mp3 ,flac oder 24 Bit erkennen kann .
Design aus 1990
Ich verstehe nicht, wieso das Design der App nie überarbeitet wurde, die App schaur einfach uralt aus. Schade dass Synology generell sämtlichen Apps nie ein Design-Update spendet. DS Audio schaut gefühlt seit 10 Jahren ident aus.
Can’t connect anymore V5.16.3-436
Can’t login to my quickconnevt server anymore.. the „logging in“ popup appears and stays there forever.. Browser login works perfectly fine ..
Tadellose, stabil laufende App
Ich muss hier einfach für diese App Partei ergreifen - sie hat eine einfach und gut strukturierte Oberfläche, über die man nicht nur Net-Radio streamen, sondern auch sehr flott durch große Musikbibliotheken suchen kann. Auch Songtexte und Covers werden ansprechend während der Wiedergabe dargestellt, was gar nicht so üblich ist. Außerdem kann man zuverlässig Hi-Res Musikdaten unverändert, also ohne Transkodierung ins Netzwerk streamen. In meinem Fall übertrage ich an einen UPnP-Renderer, der seinerseits die digitalen Daten an 2 High-End Aktiv-Boxen weiterreicht.
Irgendwas
Hab es bis jetzt nicht mal geschafft auch nur einen Track zur Wiedergabeliste hinzuzufügen. Ist mir ein Rätsel wie sowas bei einer Musikapp nicht implementiert werden kann. Außer ärgerlich nur ärgerlich.
