Library feature for carplay
I love this app, though I really need the library function on the carplay screen to browse my folders.

DS audio allows you to stream music stored on your DiskStation with an iPhone/iPad wherever an Internet connection is available. Better yet, with the offline mode you can listen to songs stored in the device’s local memory for when no network connection is available. You can browse music by albums, artists, folders or genres, create your own playlists or share them with your friends, and even rate your music! And if you have dedicated stereo speakers at home, DS audio can also become a remote control to stream music to them.

Does not work over TLS 1.3
I spent 2 hours figuring out why this app wouldn’t connect to my nas when using https… Finally discovered that enabling ‘modern’ ssl compatibility on your sinology nas disables TLS 1.2 and the app does not work over 1.3. Setting my nas back to ‘intermediate’ made it work again. Please, Synology… fix this ;)
Equalizer
I really love this app to listen to my music on my synology, but it would be nice to have a equalizer build in, so if I stream to my Bluetooth music installation, I can at least equalize it a little bit. Nothing to fancy, just a 5-band equalizer would be a great start 😉👍
Don’t work
From today the application no longer works with iOS 14.2. Can you please resolve the problem as quick as possible. Thanks
CarPlay doesn’t work with downloaded music
I was expecting a lot from CarPlay integration but music downloaded is not available. I don’t always a 4G connection to my NAS.
Some improvement needed
Donwload from the nas are very slow, and no access to the app storage from iTunes. Player did not kept the same track been connected or not to the Nas, Would be great to get synchronization option to kept selected library for offline use.
Works but room for improvement
I use the app mainly in my car over a 4G mobile data connection. I'm using a bluetooth connection to connect to the car stereo. 4G mobile data usage is low and the connectivity is working fine. The missing features are: - Not supported in Apple Car play, it can play audio from DS audio while using Apple car Play but you have to interactie with the app on your phone - No integration as audio player in the Google Waze GPS app unlike Spotify, Deezer, ... - If you don't use the app for some hours it doesn't remember where it was. I think there is a timeout somewhere and after this the apps has to login again. This happens even when the app is still running in the background. - When the last file in a directory is played the app just stops playing. It's not starting again with the first song in this directory or so, it's also not jumping to the next directory. It's just waiting for the user to interact.

Weinig mogelijkheden. App heeft problemen met het afspelen van aaneengesloten albums, tussen twee nummers is een heel kleine pauze. App onthoudt ook geen afspeelpositie.
Top app
Great app to listen music stored on your N’as from everywhere. Was a bit slow with a DS212j but as soon as I changed to a 218+ everything is so smooth while browsing.
No USB DAC since 5.14.1 - Solved with 5.14.2
Worked for many years, but since 5.14.1 the icon for choosing an output device, in my case an USB DAC does disappear after a while, so all control is lost... Logon/logoff solves this issue often but not always. App for me unusable... Problems with remote players solved in 5.14.2.
